"SHIT!SHIT!SHIT!" A wave of panic and anxiety flooded over me. I grabbed my phone and called Rose. Whilst the phone was ringing I hailed a taxi and told him where I was heading. I couldn't make out where we were because my eyes were heavy with tears. Oh god what if I had lost the only person I had felt true love for?! What would I do then? My phone kept ringing out. I called 4 times on the way back to our apartment and every time the voicemail answered rather than Rose. I paid the driver and sprinted to my apartment complex. I grabbed my keys as I ran up the stairs, there was no time for an elevator. As I got to my door I heard something no women ever wants to hear. And just like that my tears faded away. And I unlocked the door. I did not go in and catch that liar and cheater, no I went to the spare room where we kept our clothes, I grabbed essential things and left. With no idea where I was going. My stomach knotted over and over and I felt as if I was going to throw up. I ran down the stairs in a haze and called the only person in the hellhole of a city I knew would be up at this hour, my sister, genessa. She was older than me but I knew she had some great wisdom of some sort to offer me, so I called her number.
"Hey, it's one what the hell are you doing up? Don't you have work in a few hours?" That was true. I did, but there was no way I was going. Not the way I was feeling.
"Haha yea, I was wondering if I could come over? Somethings happened." It was hard to not break through my tears.
"Omg are you ok? What's happened?!" The sound of her worried, worried me.
"Yea I'll explain everything when I get over there." And I hung up. I grabbed my car keys are drove to my sisters apartment, which had more than enough space for the both of us.
...
Once I got to Genessa's house I broke down and told her everything about tonight. Even about Elijah. I unraveled and cried until the sun came up, and by that time I really didn't feel like going into the office. I was a forensics analyst. Or in 'normal English' I helped find the bad guys using their finger prints or dna left at a crime scene. So at 8am I called in just saying I was really unwell, and lucky for me I had plenty of vacation days stored up. Genessa made me toast with peanut butter and she had eggs. I could not stand eggs, I thought they were disgusting. We sat and ate our food.

"So," Gen said with half a mouth full of food, "tell me more about this, 'Elijah' guy. He seems like every bi persons wet dream."
"Jesus Christ Genessa! Omg! We are eating!" I exclaimed in shock.
"You barely even touched on him and he seemed to be a big part of your night! Did you get his number? Did he ask you out?" Genessa interrogated shoving another piece of egg into her mouth.
"No. He has a super hot, super model girlfriend. So he's out of the picture." Thinking about it made me disappointed, the possibility of seeing him again was very slim, especially in this city.
"Ah. Well, was he cute at least?"
"Very. I didn't get a real deep, close look at him but did look like every bi persons wet dream." Once I said I wanted to take it back.
"YES! I knew it!" Genessa was shouting as she danced around her obnoxiously sized apartment. "Well, I got to go, I actually have to go to work. Other wise neither of us can wallow in pity. Eat whatever you want and text me before 5 about what you want for dinner, ok?"
"Ha, ok mum!" I said very mockingly.
"Haha very funny. See ya!" And just like that she had left. So I took to my laptop to be doing some work from home. I couldn't spend the day crying about the fact that the only person I had truly loved had just cheated on me.
