Ember (RWBY x Male Reader)

Y/n Rose, twin brother of Summer Rose, was currently walking through Vale, wearing a simple unbuttoned gakuran, with a white ivory shirt, the top button being undone. His shaggy brown hair, reaching just past his smoldering green eyes. Along with it are jet black jeans, with white trainers.

We can see that there is a scar that goes up along his right cheek, and another that bridges across his nose, the latter of which is fresh, as evident by the blood trickling down.

He walks into a convenience store, and comes out a few minutes later, with some groceries in hand, and leaves, his face having tiredness written all over it.

A few minutes later, he arrives at a simple house, in a grassy area, and so goes to open the door.

When the door opens, he is greeted by two children, both of which happen to be girls. The elder of the top has blonde hair, as well as lilac eyes. The younger one has black hair fading into red tips, as well as silver eyes.

Y/n puts his shopping bags down, and so goes to pick up the younger girl, whilst ruffling the elder's hair.

Y/n: *smiling* How are my favourite nieces doing?

Younger Girl: Good thanks Uncle Y/n!

Y/n: That's great, Ruby. What about you, Yang?

Yang: Uncle Y/n... I'm hungry...

Y/n: Well, "Hungry", Y/n's gonna whip something up for you, so sit tight.

As he said this, a Welsh Corgi jumped onto Y/n's face, as he simply laughed.

Y/n: No Zwei, I haven't forgotten about you either.

With that, he put the dog down, along with Ruby, before taking his groceries into the kitchen, and unpacking them, before donning an apron, and proceeding to take out some milk, flour, sugar, eggs, and some other necessities for whatever he was cooking.

A few minutes later, Y/n comes out, with a plate of fresh chocolate-chip cookies, and sets them on the table, before calling out.

Y/n: Roll up! Roll up! Step right up! Get your free chocolate-chip cookies whilst they're still fresh! But be careful, 'cause they're hot!

And like that, Ruby and Yang both ran into the dining room, where Y/n smiled, folding his arms, and so he hears the door open, and so his smile falls, when he sees his friend, Taiyang, father to Ruby and Yang, with his hair slightly ruffled, as Y/n frantically gestures for Tai to go upstairs, in which the latter obliges.

Y/n crouches to Yang and Ruby, ruffling their heads.

Y/n: Hey kids, I'm gonna go upstairs for a bit. I'll be back in a few minutes.

And with that, Y/n stood up and walked up the stairs, to his room, where Taiyang was, sighing.

Tai: Look, Y/n, I didn't mean to, I swear-

He was cut off, as Y/n put a finger on his lips, a serious look on the ravenette's face.

Y/n: How many times... Not in front of the kids. Do you seriously want them asking "Why does Daddy have bite marks on his neck and white stuff all over his hair?!

Tai: I…

Y/n sighed, ruffling his hair, and pinching the bridge of his nose.

Y/n: I... Actually, forget it. Call Qrow to look after the kids.

Y/n just left without a word, walking out of the room, and downstairs, going into the living room, and taking out a chōkuto, still in its sheath, along with a giant but narrow suitcase, and so walks out of the house without a word.
