Rejected by my Mate

Chapter 4

We arrived at Moonlight territory at 6 the following evening. We was on schedule  for once. We was stop by one of the pack guards, John rolled down his window. ''Knight Pack''

''Go on. Keep going straight-'' The guard said but he was cut of by John 

''Okay thanks but we know the way.'' He said before pulling away leaving a shocked guard. 

We all burst out laughing.

45 minutes later, we arrived that the pack house. Taking a deep breath, I climb out of the Van. Both John and Lewis (Head Fighter) stood in front of Logan. I took my place behind  Lewis by a couple steps back from Logan. 

I could hear Ava playing with her toys with the one of the pack nannies. Smiling I turn to face them Don't let her out of your sight or the van until we know it safe and not a trap. I mind link to the nanny who nod her head. I just turn to face the pack house when the door opened. Showing two people I couldn't forget in a million years. Ryder and Ajay. 

Logan and John walk towards them, Lewis, few of the guards and myself followed. 

''Logan, John welcome to Moonlight.Thank you for coming to help out on short notice.''  Ryder said.

''Glad to help out a friend in need.'' Logan said out loud but add through the mind link 'Even if he a jerk for rejecting the most amazing girl and child.''

His comment made me and a few other laugh. ''Logan he doesn't know about Ava remember, I didn't know about her.''

''How about we go inside?'' Alpha Ryder asked.

With a nod from Logan, we walked in leaving a few of the fighters out guarding Ava and making sure we not going to be attack.

We walked in the familiar living room but yet it was different to what I remember.

''Please take a seat.'' Alpha Ryder said. 

Both Ryder and Logan sat down. I could feel eyes on me, knowing it was my brother I kept my head down. 

''What the problem?'' Logan said. 

''As I told you we are about to go to war with Blackblood Pack in a couple weeks but I know there no way my pack can beat them. The pack is strong but sadly not strong enough. We lost one of our fighter's child a few years ago and her family haven't been the same since. Ajay my beta is her oldest brother and he excellent beta and everything but he stay closed off. I need your help to train my pack because I can't train them without her family shutting down.''

I felt guilty for leaving my family. I wanted to cry then on the spot. I felt a nudge in my side. I glance in that direction to find Lance looking at me. ''You Okay?'' He months.

Shaking my head. I mouthed, ''I caused the pain.''

Lance was about to reply when Logan said  ''I let my best fighter to train your pack but I want everyone to train and respect her.''

''Her?'' Ryder asked shocked. 

Rolling my eyes. Did he really think that girls can't fight like you guys?'' I asked through the mind link. 

''Yes. She one of my top fighters and she guards my pack and mate with her life.'' Logan said with pride. ''Alex?'' He called holding his hand out of me. 

Taking another breath I walked forward with my head down. I put my hand in Logan's and nodded. 

You can do this Alex. We all here to back you up.'' Lewis said. 

Slowly I bought my head but I wasn't looking at Ryder nor Ajay, I was looking at the person who just walked through the front door. My Dad. 

''Alexia?'' Both Ajay and Ryder said. I didn't bother looking or answering them. I was still looking at my dad. My vision started to blur. ''Pumpkin?''
