Everything seems so awkward. There wasn't any shout from granny,
it almost felt like an empty,haunted house,like literally it was slient.

7:30am Wednesday morning i jumped out of my bed realizing,today was her 'gotcha day'
We were officially welcoming her in our house with so much love and care.

I hurried and did all my morning routine and dressed up myself with a 'gotcha day' kinda dress,cause i just wanted to be presentable and decent.

"Okay its 8:10  i need to get downstairs "
i made my way.

The awkwardness level were hitting on everyone of them,
trust me,it was on level 100 on 100...
i could tell how awkward my granny was and still tryna breath well.

"oh she is pretty"!
"Prolly my type "....okay!!!!

I could see her faking smile out of nervousness,her shaking hands and never changing awkward posture and pretending to be fine with the totally new environment and people around...

"Hey there! "
"Chuks!,"
"Comon!, "
"you cant be late any more.
i remember i told you everything last night. How can u be so irresponsible," that was granny groaning at me despite having some guest..

You know asian parents doesn't believe in scolding your kids infront of a guest is such an embarrassment..
Yes i am freaking ASIAN...

"ohhhhhkhayyyyyyyy!!!(irk sound)
"M proud of you granny,its her first day and can u not hold for a day without picking up those freaking lines for me...?dammmm.."
It was on the tip of my tongue but I swallowed,honestly i had to..
Because I didnt wanna make a scene..

"Well! You can call me chuks"and welcom home"
i managed.

"Hi!
Thank you" she nooded...

"Stop it bro,everyone will notice you if u dont" i warned him.

Seriously,i can tell you.
I found THEee HAPPIEST MAN on earth at my freaking home.
His smile was as big as the entire universe.
I could feel him right through his face,

"Wait a minute! did you do a blush bro?" I was giggling too much.

He was actually glaring at me..

No!he is not a blush type.
okay so he is actually blushing and thats his natural blush..
lol my brother be such a creep..

"3years of relationship and still blusing phrother" ?? Let me tell you, m expert in wisperization.

He "shushed "me right there...

"We are happy for both of you."
"Its both of your own decision to be together,"
"we aren't going against neither coercing both to stick together ."
"I will be happy to see you both till the end" granny was orienting both like literally never ending one...

You know typical asian garnny's talk,
Never ends.....

Her welcome day truned out pretty good.we ended it up with a simple traditional dinner and ofcourse my granny's favorite dish
"yetpa solo"..........................

Ahhh i hope you guys enjoyed reading...dont hesitate to comment and plzz do figure out the mistakes..it will indeed help me alot cause m writing for the first time guys...
Okay "yetpa solo" if I translate it's literal Meaning.."yetpa"means sth thats out dated. But dont freak out,we dont eat every out dated stuffs..haha
Usually yetpa is made out of cooked soy bean keeping it for longggg term..my granny believes the older it gets.the tastier it will be...
