Long minutes of silence passed them by

Long minutes of silence passed them by. The once crowded hallway was now empty of students. Everyone had regained their classes except for the Infinity Coven members and those three mysterious strangers.

For them, it seemed like time had stopped. It was hard to accept the fact that Cian, Liam and Rowena were of the Blackwell lineage. It just seemed impossible.

Dravon's gaze hardened when he assessed these three with his blue eyes and his mouth twisted into a grimace. The color of their eyes still glowed red but it was their aura which caught his attention. It was an aura of pure chilling dominance. Just like him.

They were lying—they had to be lying!

Normally he would know if unwanted supernatural beings had crossed the invisible border to step in Blue Haven. But these three daring strangers were already in his hometown and surprisingly he didn't even feel a thing. That was unusually weird.

"Explain yourself how you all happen to be my cousins." Piercing them with his cold stare, Dravon smiled thinly. "Last time I checked, I was still the one and only heir of the Blackwell legacy."

Cian and Liam shared a brief knowing look.

"That my dear cousin, is a long story," Rowena responded. "You bet," Ash muttered dryly.

Dravon gave them a stern look and snapped his fingers. Before they could even take a deep breath, they all found themselves in the underground library.

Dravon rolled his broad shoulders into a shrug and let them analyse the quiet surroundings. "No one will disturb us here. Now enlighten me."

"You forgot to say please," Rowena batted her eyelashes at him. Dravon just gave her a cold deadly look.

"Remember your dead uncle, the infamous Saul Blackwell?" Liam pinpointed.

"What about him?" Shade asked. "Well you see, Saul Blackwell wasn't a saint," Liam voiced. "Tell me about it," Quinn muttered, one long eyebrow raised in silent inquiry. "Get to the point already. We don't have all day," Dravon interrupted with obvious impatience. "Your dead uncle had some particular vices. You see, he had numerous affairs outside Blue Haven and some of these women borne his children," Liam informed.

Dravon snorted. "As if I'm going to believe you. Saul Blackwell had a strange habit of staying in Blue Haven and keep an eye on Campbell witches."

"Don't be so sure of yourself," Liam spoke.

"I still don't get the connection. Even if all this is true, how are you all related to the Blackwell's?" Jade inquired. Rowena sighed. "I knew the sandy-haired one would be the one to ask stupid questions," she said. Jade scoffed and glared at her. "Well answer it, Miss know it all."

"We're the descendants of Saul Blackwell's children," Rowena said. Jade and Lisa frowned, and gasped, utterly bewildered. "You mean after 200 years, you want me to believe that there's more people with his magical black blood in their veins!" Dravon stated. Suddenly his voice challenged them, harsh and commanding : "Prove it. I don't believe you."
