The Fall

11 1 1

Walking on the line

Waiting until I fall

Thought I was doing fine

Guess I know nothing at all.

No red tape for me

Just plain green

You could never see

Through that bright sheen

Of Her.

She had control

And you never knew

What to do

To make her

Go away.

You should’ve made

Me stay

You never should’ve

Chased that

Which would eventually

S      i       n      k.

Waiting for that instant

Decline

The fall,

In which

I’ll never stand

I’ll never walk again.

She had you

And that turned me

Into this monster

But I won’t win you back

She’s much too strong,

Much too strong for that.

She’ll push me off the edge

One way

Or another

Never have to worry

About me

Never worry about me

Ever again

Because here comes

The Fall.
