Sunshine's point of view

I ran to my best friend in any of the packs. Serenity she could not directly understand what it was like to have a mom as alpha in one pack and a dad that was alpha in the other but she could understand because her mom was beta in one pack and in another her father was beta. "Serenity! Serenity!" Sunlight yelped as she ran to Serenity's den.

"Yes my Sunlight?"Serenity appeared from her den with snow sticking to her fur. Her mother has recently had a litter of pups and they were a handful compared to Serenity's litter.

" I have to make a decision to leave the only homes I know and live in a pack my parents start," Sunshine paused to hold in her tears," or stay here and live alone or with my grandparents. Why can't life be easy and we all just find mates have pups and grow old and die?"

Sunshine was walking the Sunshine pack's border when a rabbit ran out in front of her. With one swipe of her paw she had crushed its neck and the rabbit's lifeless body laid there in the cold wet snow packed ground.
