Chapter 10 - The Mysterious Orb

Everyone was sitting in the living room, feeling rather bored. It was the middle of the day on the fourteenth of January - a month that is never that interesting.

Suddenly, Tea Party said dreamily, while lying on the floor, "You know the names that Briar calls us? What would we be called if it was just the first two letters?"
H shrugged, "Easy, mines only has one letter. H."
"I would be Ji!" Replied Jimmy.
Emilia said, "I'd be Ga."
"I'd be Bo!" Carly chirped.
"I'd be Be," Pearl started when she realised, "Wait.. I'd be Be, Carly would be Bo. Be and Bo. Be, Bo. Haha, that sounds funny."
"Oh yeah!" Giggled Carly.
"I would be Bl.. you know, that's really unsatisfying to pronounce," Rosalina laughed quietly.
"Uh, I'd be Mi," KC added.
"Mi as in.. Michael in the bathroom at a pa-arty?" Emilia sang, referencing one of her favourite songs from her favourite musicals.
KC cocked her head, "What?"
"Never mind. I forgot you've only been out of the basement for like.. a year and a half or so," smiled Emilia.
"Oh.. okay..?" replied KC, confused.
"I would be Jo!" Grinned Tea Party, "I love it!"
"I'd be called We.. great name!" Said TicToc sarcastically, while rolling her eyes.
"I would be.............. St! I am a saint! Kneel before me!" Declared Bob, jokingly. Most people laughed, but some rolled their eyes.
"You know that's not what saints do..? Right?" Asked Gidget.
"No!" Bob yelled happily, his mouth wide open, "Oh, wait! I could also be street!"
"Bob Street," said Tea Party.
Bella said, "Well, I would be called Ro."
"Like Rosanna Pansino!" Cried Carly. This was one of her favourite chefs.
"Um, sure!" Bella smiled, awkwardly.
"I am Ke," laughed Gidget, "Just Ke."
Granny Bloodgood said, "I'd be Tw (or Tw Sm if we're counting two words as two names), and Mr. Donkey here would be called Pr or Pr Sp Fa!"
"Why?!" Sobbed Mr. Donkey.
"Hey, TicToc, why are you called TicToc? It's not even spelt right!" Asked Tea Party.
"Well, what do you expect from a four year old?" She cried in defence, "I mean.. I'm not four, but I named myself when I was four, and of course, I couldn't spell. Uh.. now I can't remember my real name."
"It's Wendy!" Yelled Tea Party, as a joke.
"No it's not!" TicToc shouted back.

There were a few minutes of silence before Emilia said, "Hey, Jimmy, your hair kinda looks like Clint - as in 'I am banana!'"
"I am.. banana!" Quoted Jimmy.
"I am.. coffee!" Screeched Tea Party.
"That's not funny," Emilia said, "It should be 'I am a banana' but it's not 'I am a coffee'. You said it correctly, therefore, it's not as funny."
Tea Party sighed, "Dang it!"
"I am.. banana!!" Yelled Jimmy.
"Yes you are," smiled Emilia.
"Hey, you guys actually look like Flint and Sam! Aww, that's cute," Tea Party grinned.
"OTP!" Chimed H and Carly.
"Huh, I guess we do, and shut up!" Cried Emilia.
"No," H replied.

KC went to turn the light on, and came back straight away. The room barely looked different.

"Hey, you know what I am?" H said, "I am surrounded by people with purple hair, that's what."
"Oh yeah, so you are!" Laughed Rosalina. H was standing next to her and KC.
"And I'm surrounded by the ground!" Cried Tea Party, still lying on the floor.

Suddenly, Briar jumped into the room, landed face first, then left again.

"How did she even.. get in here..?" Asked H.

Half an hour later..

"Shut up, stupid narrator!" Pearl whined.
TicToc glared at her in a confused manner, "What?"
"Nothing," replied Pearl, quickly.

Actually half an hour later..

"He-ey! I'm ba-ack!" Yelled Briar. Gidget covered her ears.
"Why did you change your clothes?" H asked. Briar was now wearing a purple dress that looked like something her sister Holly might wear.
"Because I felt like it, okay?" She replied. Her tone of voice sounded like she was being sassy all the time, when really, that was just how she spoke.
"Also you straightened your hair. How could it possibly take half an hour to do that?" Sighed Pearl.
"No, it only took me like, a second," replied Briar, matter-of-factly.
"Wo-ow, that was the longest second ever," Pearl said sarcastically, while rolling her eyes.
"Haha, okay, it wasn't a second, it was like.. two seconds," Briar laughed, "See? It's like.. double the time!"
"No! That's not enough!" Moaned Pearl.
"What? Do you want me to make it three times the time?" Asked Briar.
"That's triple."
"Whatever," replied Briar, slamming her head against the wall, then falling flat on her face. On purpose.

"Oops, sorry TicToc, my hair is in your face," Pearl mumbled.
"And I don't like it!" Cried TicToc, leaping from her chair to the floor, landing on Tea Party's face, "Huh. This is actually comfortable."
"I can't really see," smiled Tea Party, and shoved TicToc face first into the floor.
"Now she can't really see," said Jimmy.
TicToc went back to her seat, "Yeah, you're right."
"Now you can both see! Problem solved!" Jimmy smiled. Then he looked at Briar, still on the floor, and his expression changed, "See! I command you to see!"

Briar stood up and jumped over to the couch, landing on top of both Jimmy and Emilia.

"Stop it! Why are you so jumpy today??" Cried Jimmy.
"Get off me," said Emilia, shoving Briar off before she even had the chance to reply.
"Okay! I'll just stand here!" Briar grinned, jumping to her feet once more, and standing between Emilia and Mr. Donkey, beside the couch.

Out of nowhere, Bob announced, "I'm bored, so I'm going on a walk!" Then he added, "Does anybody wanna come?"
"Uh, I guess I will if no one else does," replied Jimmy, awkwardly.
"Come on then!" Cheered Bob.

The two left, but Bob forgot the keys and kept trying to open the locked door with his hands, then when that didn't work, he hit it with his face. Jimmy, with some common sense, went back to get them.

"Actually, since they're leaving, I just remembered that I need to go and get something from the basement. Although, I might need some help. Emilia, why don't you come?" Asked Gidget.
Emilia winced at the mention of her name, "Me? But.. I'm uh.. super weak."
"Yeah, I don't care, you're helping me," Gidget demanded.
"Oh, okay then, mum," sighed Emilia, with a slight hint of sarcasm in her tone.

They quickly ran down to the basement to get.. whatever it was the Gidget was looking for, when Emilia noticed a strange light coming from a small hole in the wall. She pointed it out to Gidget, and asked if she knew what it was. Gidget had no idea. Emilia reached her arm into the hole, and tried to grab whatever it was that was making the light, when suddenly, everything went blank..

Hi! Sorry I haven't updated in so long! I'll explain in Information - Part 11.

I hate it when chapters are mostly speech..

I know the original episode doesn't reference Rosanna Pansino or Be More Chill but I saw/heard the names and I was like, "I have to!" So uh.. yeah. That happened. Also they were talking about Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. Oh yeah, and other musicals I like are Dear Evan Hansen and 21 Chump Street. Oh, and the obvious - Undertale the Musical by Man on the Internet (and Genocide also by MOTI and the other Genocide one by LemonLight Productions).

They also do the same thing with their normal names which I will list right here with "I am" before it. Try and figure out who they are:
