Chapter 4

Welcome to chapter 4,enjoy your stay

"I have risen from the void" I say as I meet eye to eye with my mom who's patiently waiting at the bottom of the stairs after I promised I would get up and do something today. "Finally Frankenstein has risen." he says with a chuckle earning a frown from me.

"that was lame." I say walking to the kitchen in my Ryan nightdress "get off my dick, I gotta live ya know." she says normally.

Has she been snooping on the teenage side of the internet or has just picked up this kinda shit from me?

"never say that again mom" I say as I grab a bowl before pouring in the cereal then the milk. "ok then, I want you to get dressed today and whilst I am at work I want you to pop to the store and get some food please." she asks "ok I'll do that"I say shovelling cereal in my mouth.

"good." she says before kissing my forehead and leaving for work with a wave.

"I'm determined to change my ways, I'm not going to allow myself to slip" I say to myself although it's a bit too ambitious.

I finish my cereal and quickly tidy the kitchen and living room before going to my bedroom to choose my clothes.

I decide on a yellow cropped jumper with "fuck you" wrote on the sleeves and small sunflowers covering it paired with a black asymmetrical skirt and tights. I also wear my heeled boots and a casual boyfriend jacket to stay warm.

I walk briskly down the stairs and I grab my keys and the shopping list before leaving the house and walking quickly to the store.

I walk in to the convenience store and start picking up the things on the list such as almond milk and ramen and a lot more. However I also decided to pick up some chocolate for myself.

But there was only one chocolate bar of the type left and when I went it pick it up my hand collided with another. I look up in shock to see that it's no other than jisung.

Jisung is a trainee at sm entertainment , he is an extremely good dancer and we have been good friends since I could remember .

"oh hi Jisung-ah." I say before giving him a quick hug "hi Dai. How are you?" she asks hugging me back "I'm doing well, how are you doing?" I reply with a smile "I'm doing well. I'm doing pretty good in school but I think I may debut soon and I'm very excited." he says releasing me from the hug "that's awesome Ji! How are you liking your fellow trainees?" I ask with a smile.

"I am really liking them! They're such a mix of people some are more introverted like myself and some are very out there like Haechan Hyung he is very loud. But we also have a new trainee coming in soon, he was doing the overseas program for years and he is now coming over to Korea!" He says with a wide smile sprawled across his face "you must be so happy, I know you've always found it hard to make friends at school and honestly I'm in the same boat." I say with a little chuckle "yeah, I am always glad for these kinds of opportunities to make friends it's depressing I don't have any at school but I know I have them outside of school." He says with a sad yet happy smile.

Jisung picks up the bar of chocolate next to the one our hands collided on and puts it in his basket "do you wanna do a ouija board? Like old times?" I ask as we both walk to the cashier "sounds good I don't have to be back to the dorms urgently so why not." He quickly replies.

We pay and walk to my house at a fast pace to avoid becoming ice cubes With the sudden plummet in Temperature. I open the door and let him in before closing behind me to ensure the house doesn't become cold.  "Just place the bag on the kitchen counter Ji" I say placing my keys in the draw in the kitchen.

He does as I suggest and he takes his coat of placing it on the coat stand of which I do the same after. I remove my shoes placing them on the rack in the cupboard and jog up the stairs to get the ouija board.

I bring it down and place it on the coffee table. Jisung and I have always been superstitious,we've always wondered what the true intention of certain spirts is and we have been trying to find out for years.

We take the board from the box and placing it carefully on the table and we put the planchet on the board. We place two fingers each on the planchet and circle it thrice whilst saying "are there any spirts whom would like to contact us?" In perfect unison

We then pause and wait before we receive an answer a slow swift movement to yes was shown "what is your name?" I ask curiously "K.I.M M.U.N.Y.E.O.N.G" we read aloud "Kim munyeong?" I say in a questioning tone the planchet moves to yes.

"what is your business in the spiritual realm?" Jisung asks inquisitively "t.o w.a.t.c.h" it reads before a pause "to watch who? Your family?" I say before the planchet swiftly moves "yes" but before We could comprehend the yes it starts spelling another word "s.u.f.f.e.r"I look at jisung wide-eyed "why do you want them to suffer?" Cautiously ask "d.e.a.t.h" I pout questioningly "your death?" I ask and the planchet moves to yes "how do you want them to suffer?" Jisung asks making me send a sharp gaze to him.

"l.u.c.k" I tilt my head slightly "bad luck? Such as death or failure?" I ask with caution but much to my astonishment it moves to yes "how did you greet death?" I ask politely "m.u.r.d.e.r" jisung quickly speaks up "was it a plan of murder by your family? Your beloved or children or all of them?" He asks "h.u.s.b.a.n.d" my eyes go wide and I say "your hunsband? Were your children involved?" I ask before the planchet moves quickly to yes "how?" Jisung asks "t.r.i.c.k.e.d" it says and I say "I think we should go Munyeong, thank you for talking to us and I hope we are able to talk to you again. Thank you." Jisung says before we move the planchet to goodbye.

"Wow. That was something else." I say to Jisung "it really was but I must be going her is my number if you wanna meet up or talk again." He says before handing me a piece of paper and grabbing his bag and coat after I unlock the door "see you soon, I'll be your number 1 fan Ji!" I say excitedly to him as he stands on the top step, he giggles a bit "thanks Dai!" He says walking down the path.
