Tuesday morning, my alarm goes off. I reached over and hit the snooze button. Today is moving day. No school for me. The worst part about moving to a different country, isn't the moving itself, its the settling in part. Most people move to a New school in the begging of the school year. They get a fresh start. New people. New start. Nobody knows whos who. Not me. If starting school in a new country in the middle of the year isnt the worst part. I dont know what is.
Canada was my home for so long. All my family lived here. My friends. The guy who bakes bread every morning, that smells so delicious, and is located down the street from where I live. The cold air. I was to leave this behind and was to start fresh in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania.

We drove to the airport. Mum and dad talked about all good opportunities we could have in the United States. I guess I wasn't to happy about the whole thing of moving to a different country. I put some headphones on, and clicked shuffle on my playlist. As I watched every buliding we pasted as we drove by. I wasn't a big fan of plane rides. I never traveled much. So getting use to flying, wasn't going to come easy. But this plane ride wasn't too bad. Luckily I slept from the tale off to the landing.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Today was my first day, at my new school. Getting use to the different time zones, was going to take awhile. I put some highwasited black jeans on, with a red spaghetti strap crop top, and a black leather jacket. Slipped my Dr. Martens on and applied some light make up on my face and headed downstairs.
"Excited for school today?" Mum said handing me a plate with eggs, bacon, and toast.
"Not really" I take a bite off my toast.
"Pennsylvania, seems like a great place, give it a chance."
"I can only hope for the best." And head out. I didnt have trouble getting to the school. As I parked, I looked up at the school in front of me.
"Welcome to your new life, Cat."
I walked through the halls, my eyes stuck on the school map showing all school grounds. I could feel peoples eyes on me like they've never seen a Canadian new girl before.
"Okay so I'm here...so this means I need to go left....uhm no..."
This is going to be a long day.
The bell rang so I walked quicker, and hit a locker, face first, dropping all my stuff.
"Watch where you're going!" A voice growled at me. I removed my hand from my face, and looked up to see the most glorious breathtaking face. Droopy brown eyes, perfect curly hair that bounced when he moved.
"Sorry, uhm, im....im new here, do you know where room E214 is?" I say picking up the map.
"As a matter of fact I do" He stood behind me and pointed at the map, telling me directions. I noticed his nails were painted black as well, his hands filled with tattoos. He seemed like he had a strong grip.
