When I was smaller I used to love the beach, I loved to surf, running in the sand, kicking the water with my bare feet and all that fun stuff. I was 10 when I almost drowned in the ocean. It was a hot day out, and my whole family decided to go swimming. And of course I was excited. I ran in the ocean to catch a wave. The water was cold and i loved the way it ran threw me. I had fun riding waves that day. I took a break before heading back into the ocean. Mum and dad were with a few family friends.
"Dad!" I called. But he ignored me.

"Dad! Look! Look at that big wave!" And he ignored me once again. So I just ran to the ocean, I was excited to ride that huge wave. I was good for a few minutes. But then that wave sucked me in like a sink hole. I cried for help and nothing, when I managed to catch some air, for just a second, I called for help. Dad and mum were to busy someplace else. I called for help every chance I could my foot was stuck to my surfboard so it was dragging me under. Someone saw me calling for help as the waves hit on the solid rocks, with every wave I was being pushed closer and closer to a gaint wall.
"Hey! Someone! Help! She's drowning!" Some lady said. I dont know how my parents got to me, but before I even saw anything else I was crushed against the gaint rock. I blacked out.
The next thing I remember was waking up at the hospital with a bandage around my head and a bandage around my arm. I could barley open my eyes, the light was bleaming at me, making it hard for me to open my eyes I see around me. I was terrified. I had trouble breathing. I heard people rushing in the room I was in. I heard mum yelling my name. Ever since I havent been gone in the ocean. Mum helped me getting over the fear of getting in a home pool but the ocean wasn't so easy not with the huge waves that hit shore.
