After school
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I headed to Starbucks to get some cookies and coffee, I wasn't going home yet, once I got my order for two, I head to Jack house. The house looked so peaceful when he wasn't throwing a party. And quite. I walked up the steps. Before I can knock. Jack opens it.
"Canada?" I looked at him.
"I hope you like cookies and....." I looked at the coffee. "...an Iced Caramel Macchiato?" And smiled at him. He smirked.
"You're early?" As he takes the coffee.
"Yeah? Well I wasn't going home." Handing him his cookies. He steps aside and let's me in.
"Wow." I looked around his house.
"What?" Jack asked as he lead me to his living room.
"Your house looks bigger when your not having a party." I say. He laughs. We sit down on the floor. I set down my coffee and cookies on the long brown coffee table, and put my bag down. I looked at him. He was staring at me.
"What?" I say. He nods his head no.
"You okay?" He asked. I looked at him, and chuckled.
"Jack. We are not friends. I'm just here to bring my grade up for Math." I made it clear. He chuckles.
"I'm not saying we are." I looked at him.
"Why didn't you want to go home?" He asked once again.
"Doesnt matter....its....nothing." As I sat down. He sits next to me.
"Well something is wrong." He chuckles. I looked at him.
"You know i never thanked you for the other night. So. Thank you. I guess?" I say changing the subject. He chuckles.
"For what?" I looked at him.
"For....getting that prev off of me." He looked at me. I looked at him.
"No problem. I never had that happen." He says. I chuckled.
"Why didn't you want to go home, Cat?" I looked at him
