Friends with Benefits (Rye Beaumont)

Chapter 6

One evening, all the boys, except Rye, are away out, so it was just Rye and I at home. We've just finished doing what we're always doing, but as I get up to go back to you room, Rye grabs my waist and pulls me back to him. He held me tight to his chest.
"Rye, let me go." I whisper.
"No." He mumbles and kisses my neck gently.
"Why not?" I ask.
"I want to cuddle, please." He begs and makes his puppy eyes, which I can't resist.
"What if the boys come back?" I ask.
"They will come back tomorrow afternoon, we are completely alone until then." Rye says and kisses my cheek.
Slowly I start thinking that Rye maybe likes me more than he should.

'What if he has feelings for me? I mean he's been acting strange the few last days. He wants me to stay and cuddle, he kisses me without reason sometime. Just a kiss on the cheek when nobody sees us. I don't want to hurt him because for me he's just my best friend. Plus sex. But not more.' I think.

Rye's POV
It feels so good to hold my little princess in my arms. She's my everything and since the two of us started this friends with benefits thing, she had became more important to me and not just because of the amazing sex. Also because I know that I am not allowed to feel these things, but I promised Lilly sex without feelings. For the last few days I have tried to fight these feelings but it hasn't worked. Every time I see her, my heart starts beating faster and I just want to kiss her. I know she would stop my friends with benefits thing if I were to tell her. That's why I try to hide my feelings for her. 'I wish she would like me more than a friend.' I think, a little sad.

I have been lying with Lilly in my arms for a while now.
"Lilly? Are you sleeping?" I ask to make sure she's not awake. She's not answering so it seems like she's sleeping. "I love you." I whisper and kiss her temple.
