Dying

~I got you~

Hari's pov

"Dammit"

My fist clenched, forcing myself to stand up. Blood traveling down my stumach, leaving my body.

"Move already" I mutter frustrated.

I stumble slowly forward, each tiny step sucking away my energy. Which is now, very...very low. I feel myself getting dizzy, my movements getting sloppy. My feet betraying me. I fall.

"Crap"

My head crashing to the ground, feeling now liquid dripping down my forehead.

"Not like this"

I try to raise myself off the ground, only to be reminded by a wave of dizziness, forcing me back to the ground. I grint my teeth.

"Hell no"

I raise myself again, ignoring the pain all over my body. A burning sensation rising up, making my lips quiver. 

"Come on"

No energy left to move, I can barely stand. Feeling blood everywhere, leaving my body. The gravity once again, taking me down. My eyes accepting the darkness.

"I'm sorry Shan" I say quietly.

I never feel my body touch the ground. Instead, a warm body catching me.

"I got you Hari" I hear her say confidently.

I slightly open my eyes, seeing Shan worriedly looking at me. Before I can process it, my feet are in the air, my body secured in her arms. She starts running.

"Everything will be alright, just don't close your eyes. As she squeezes me, making my eyes stay open.

I want to tell her so many things, but no words can anymore be formed into my mouth. The darkness slowly closing in. My anxiety awakening.

'I don't want to leave you. There are too many things I still have to do with you. Things I want to repeat with you for eternity. I don't want to die in the arms, I crave to be held in'

"Hari"

"I got you, I won't let you go"

Catra's pov

After everything... After I finally showed her I'm so much stronger without her. After all that... Why did I do that? I was winning, all her comrades defeated, the rebellion empire for the taken. I showed them all that I am capable of. I showed her. I made my leader proud. My home. So why...

Why am I the one dying?

After everything, I have done for the one place that wanted me. The one place that took care of me all these years. Why did I betray them?

I grimace. Why am I even asking, of course I know. Speaking of her, what is taking her so long. Oh, there she is.

"Hey Adora" I try to say teasingly, however because of my blood loss it's barely a whisper. She lowers herself to my side, her hands on my stomach refusing to let any more blood spill. Oh that face, I really hate that face. Tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Go away" "Just let me die already"

"How can you say that! I'm not leaving you"

"How can you, you already left me"

"I never wanted to abandon you" "I never meant to hurt you" her voice cracking.

You really are annoying you know that. My body hurts so much, but you still make my heart hurt more. I shakily raise my hand. I sweep some tears away, but let my hand rest on her cheek, as only more tears follow. She doesn't meet my gaze, her eyes focused on the wound.

I squeeze my eyes. I no longer feel the pain of the hole in my stomach. I'm already that far. Guess I'll make the best of it while I still can. I grimace. I put some hair behind her ear. My fingers tingling over her cheek. My eyes twinkling. Memorizing her face.

"You know..." I say softly. She looks at me, surprised by the softness in my voice. "I'm the reason why you were in danger, I have caused you so much pain with a smile on my face, denying how much it was hurting me"

"Even so I'm glad that I was the one protecting you this time" I say with a genuine smile.

"Catra I..."

My smile falters, as I feel myself getting very tired. I can barely keep my eyes open. It's time.

Realization hitting her. Struggling to stay calm. "No don't close your eyes, stay with me" One of her bloodied hands reaching for my face, to poke against my cheek. "Just wait a little longer, help is underway"

I struggle so much to keep my eyes open. My eyelids opening and closing. I have no strength left, my body surrendering. I blink my eyes and give her a grin one last time, tears forming.

"Goodbye Adora"

I close my eyes as tears roll over my cheeks.

Malori's pov

"Vel don't... "

Blood filling my throat, forcing me to stop talking. I cough roughly. The color red covering the ground.

"...cry"

"Malori you are dying, because of me" Her eyebrows lifted in sorrow.
"I should have known"

"Shush" "You couldn't have known, that humans are vulnerable for your cooking"

Her teary eyes looking down at me. A bloody stain on her cheek. I raise my trembling fingers, pinch her cheek.

"Now we're even" I say with a cheeky smile. "Don't worry about me, I..." I cough harshly. Clearing my throat once again "I will just respawn again"

Her crying stopped, her eyes closed. I hear her growl. Did I piss her off...? She leans closer, her head close to mine. A tough grip on my shoulder, the other intertwining my hand. Her eyes opening...

I definitely pissed her off
