|Hari x Shan|

"I know"

Hari's pov

"You told me it was only one moment!"

SMASH

"You told me it wouldn't happen again"

SMASH

"You told me you loved me!"

Another rock raised in my hand, but this time not letting it go. Tears streaming down my face, hands shaking. Some rocks surrounding Shan, her face in complete distress.

"Was it all a lie...?" I ask with a broken voice.

"No Hari, please believe me" Shan takes a step towards me. Her eyes filled with guilt.

"I never meant to make you feel like this, this is all a really bad misunderstanding"

"Than why...why did you let it happen..." 

I let the rock fall beside me, my anger rising. That look on her face, I can't stand it. Like she is confirming my doubts. I turn my back to her.

"...Again"

"I...I'm sorry for making you uncertain, she took me by surprise, I tried to shove her away, I didn't mean to end with her in that position. 

I hear her moving closer, a slight touch against my shoulder. Her face once more coming into my view, now standing in front of me. I look away.  Out of the corner of my eye, I notice her hand reaching for my cheek, but I slap it away. 

"The only one I love is you Hari"

She tries to reach for my cheek a second time, I let her touch my face. Her soft fingers traveling down under my chin, lifting it slightly. I refuse to let our eyes meet. I already let too many tears spill.

"Hari" She says so tenderly. Her second hand brushing a lost hair away in front of my puffed eyes.  Her head close to mine.

"You are the one I want to be with, but I'm sorry for making you feel otherwise"

I close my eyes, our heads against each other. I gulp down my emotions. Or at least try to. A little bit embarrassed by my outburst.

"You really need to stop with ma-king me cry" I try to say light-hearted.

I finally open my eyes and look at her. Her fingers lightly stroking my cheek, trying to give all the comfort I need. Feeling her soft breath against my lips.

"I'm sorry Hari"

I can't stay mad at her. She is the one weakness I can't defeat. Even though I know she is lying.

"I know"

Catra's pov

I hate her.

The dark night litted up with sparkling yellow tints. Quietly flowing through the sky. Her breathing to be heard from the balcony.

Why does it have to be this way?

I turn my head, looking at her. The one who made my nightmares disappear.

Why did you have to leave...

My damaged claws coming out.

Why do you make me feel like this?

I make my way to her. Her breathing becoming louder.

Why wasn't I good enough for you?

I crumble to the ground. My claws slightly scratching her bed. My eyes on her peaceful face.

"I hate you"

"I thought were going to be horde captain together and explore the world"

"Making up for al the time shadow weaver interrupted us with her Adora-is-better-of-without-me speeches"

"She is still doing that by the way"

"That annoying butt face"

"Why can't I be selfish, but you can"

"It's.. not fair"

"It's never been fair"

"You always got what you wanted"

"The friends, respect, admiration, and so on"

"The only one I had was you..."

"But now you are here"

I lean in. My hand on her cheek. Her face still looking so peaceful. My lip trembling.

"You know Adora..." "It was so hard to be your shadow, you never knew how much it hurt me" "You could say and I have, I am better of without you"

"I have gained all the things I wanted"

"But I have never felt this horrible before"

I lean further in, kissing her on top of her head.

"I wish we just had runaway"

"Together"

Dear Vel,

Firstly I'm sorry that you have to find out like this. I'm a coward for not telling you in person. I will be gone for a while, and sadly I don't know how long it will be. I wish I didn't have to go. I wish I could be with you. I'm sorry I can't even tell you why.

Well on the bright side, I won't annoy you for a while.
