Lost in Histerianz

A voice of a man called my name. His light, soft voice sounded right behind me.

"YOU!!!" the four of them shouted and made few of the peoples in the hall looked at them and surprised as well.

"It's 'The World'!!!" everyone was murmuring and whispering to each other.

"Hello. Long time no see." the mysterious man smiled. It's weird. It was my first time I saw him but that smile really does look familiar.

"S-Seth? Is that really you?" Gwydion trembled.

"Gwydion? Oh my. I didn't realize that I had been gone for too long. You guys looked no different though."

"JUST THAT??? AFTER THOUSANDS OF YEARS, THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE SAYING NOW?" Dillian held Seth's shirt in rage.

"Didn't I told you Dillian? I'll come back untill 'The Fool' has returned. And I guess she's here." his amber eyes looked at my [e/c] eyes. Just like before, I remembered that I knew this guy.

"Poor thing that she didn't remembered anything." Gwydion continued.

"Just like old times Cartomencers. The competition will begin soon. I'll give you a time to prepare yourselves."

The Goddess' voice echoed inside the Hall of Calrymr.

"It's not good. Can you fight?" the man named Seth asked me.

"How can she fight? Her card is long gone!" Kira shouted as the Hall was full of the sound of weapons clanging and murmurs.

"But my friends taught me some defensive move." I replied.

"Some normal martial arts won't work here! You fight with your card, or die!" Dillian started to panic.
"We have to go!" Luoyang held my hand.

"Luoyang, darken this hall!" Seth shouted as the crowds got louder.

I saw Luoyang showed up her card and it glowed. The stars from her card flew through the hall and made the sky as black as night.

"Hold my hand." said a soft voice beside me.

In the dark, both of my hand was held by someone and we were running through the crowd. I don't really knew where we were going but we kept running. I felt that we were running inside a tunnel and stairs beneath me. I almost fell down because we're running on the stairs in the complete darkness.

"This way."

We walked to the left and I heard a voice that the door has been closed.

"Okay. We're safe here."

Torches on the wall lightened the room. It was a large library with historical paintings on its wall. I saw many unusual things on the main desk.

The desk was full of books and papers. There's a crystal ball, candles, golden quill, ink, and a glowing jar.

Everyone was looking around the room.

"Where are we?" I asked.

"My office. Well, actually this was the Carlymr's dungeon and secret tunnel. But no one knows it except me." his hair was white. I thought that hair was because of age, but his face is not that old. Around his late 30s with no moustache or beard. Maybe white hair on young people are quite a normal situation here.

"I need explanations. Now." Gwydion said strictly.

"Ugh it's a veeerrrryyyy long story you know. But I'm not good at story telling but here's the point. I found this room long time ago when I was with you, [y/n]. And nobody knows it beside us, and-" Seth's word was cut by Kira.
