Ziek's P.O.V./ Prologue

I sat in my bed, re-reading a book that I've already read many times before. There isn't really much to do here in The Island of Gaea.

Here in this very small island, is where I live. Not that I want to, but I have to..if I want to live. Me and 4 other people were brought here by the owner of the hidden Island.

Who's this owner, you may ask? Well she is a very trustworthy sweet lady who understands. If it wasn't for her, I would've been dead. We all would've.

You see, everyone here in this Island was born differently...very different. Or unique, as Ms. Jenkins, the owner would tell us.

We were born with special abilities most humans can't do. And because the world doesn't understand whats going on right now, they kill off every baby born this way. For everybody's 'Safety and protection'.

Of course it's normal for humans to be scared of what they understand, but in the end, were all humans.

So us five people have been hiding in this Island for years after years.

Everyone here was born with a different ability. I was born with Mind control and Telaporation.

Guess it's only useful for when I don't feel like walking to the restroom.

My life's pretty boring if you couldn't tell already, but that'll change soon. Pretty soon I get to go out into the real world.

Not that I have permission, but soon I'll be sneaking out of here. I want to live a normal life.
