Sam's POV

When Hannah gets on the bus I notice that her friend is not here. She sits next to me and immediately got on her phone. It looks to me that she has not yet noticed that it is me sitting next to her. Or the fact that she is sitting next to anyone at all.

My eyes linger for a bit longer until I notice a red handprint on her cheek. Is someone hurting her? Why do I care? I barely even know her.

"What is that on your cheek?" I ask without thinking. When she turns her head I notice the look of shock on her face.

"I. . . Uh. . . It's nothing." She says looking away. Is it really nothing? Oh well it's not my issue. Right? She starts fiddling with her phone case. She's lying.

I turn back to my phone and put my playlist on the first song that plays is Rap God by Eminem. I know this song has gone "out of style" a little but it is a really good song with real meaning. After my playlist is set and ready I take one more look at Hannah.

She looks deep in thought. What would cause her to be like this? Why do I care?

The school day went normally if you consider someone glancing at you over their shoulder. This was not Hannah it was Beatrice, she is beautiful and caring. I don't know why she was looking at me, I mean she has a boyfriend I think but still. She is sexy as fuck.

While in the hall I saw Beatrice infront of her locker and I took this opportunity to walk over and sweeten her right up. . .

"Hey," I say standing behind her. "What are you doing tonight?" I ask and her melts at the sound of my voice. I know I could get her without trying.

"Nothing," She says in a sweet seductive tone. "I was hoping you might want to come over. My parents won't be home." As I was about to put my hands around her waist someone pulls me back and I get a punch in the face, and I bump into someone behind me.
