Taylor's POV

'what are my plans for today..' I Silently look at my phone hoping something would pop up.

"KRISTINA!!!!" I yelled

"what do you want taylor?" in an annoyed tone

"uhh what ya doing after school? want to go to a movie or we could go to maccas and chill?"

she shoots a weird look at me and pauses in shock.

"Me? your only sister...why would you want to hang.out with me? you have your magcon boys" saying sarcatically

"well tay I have plans with Rayne after school, we are going to the mall"

"Rayne? who's rayne? and do you want me to pick you up?" curious who Rayne was my face begins to turn red

"Rayne Espinosa" she replys glaring at me

"Is she related to matt?" feeling stupidly confused I smile

"yeah......she's his step sister. how would you not know this? and yes will you please pick us up after school."

I roll my eyes looking away

" I'm not sure how I didn't know" I smile looking down.

"well um... okay. so is that a yes you will pick us up after school? by the way mom said its okay for her to come over so she'll be here soon"

" of couse Kris..." I stop my sentence short looking at a tall,beautiful brunette knocking at the door.

I check my hair and clothes and smile walking towards the door. just as I put my hand on the nob kristina pushes me out the way

"heyy, what was that for?" I push her back trying to open the door

"that's Rayne. I got this" she laughs

"go to your room try not to embarrass me" she says playfully

I stand there as she opens the door letting Rayne inside

Kristina's POV

why is Taylor acting all weird all of a sudden.....

Rayne walks in and starts to blush when she sees Taylor

"Hello, my is Taylor it's very nice to meet a beau.... I mean its very nice to meet you." stumbles on his words

"H...h..hi ...I'm ..I um." her blush face looks down not knowing what else to say.

I slightly push her out of.the way

"her name is Rayne okay? now that everyone is acquainted can we go upstairs now?"

Rayne looks down slowly walking up the stairs

'why does taylor have to be so...... taylor sometimes. Ik he's in magcon and everyone sees him as this perfect human. I hate that people try to be my friend just because im related to him. I want to be known for me not just as "Carter's gf" or Taylor's sister"...

"Hey rayne" I say gentally sitting on my bed.

Rayne's POV

'omg omg omg omg Taylor Caniff just talked to me. and he almost called me beautiful. why didn't kristina tell me she was related to him? why didn't I think about her last name hmmm? '

I hear a faint voice say

"Hey Rayne" I slowly look up I hear her again

"Rayne???? are you okay?"

I smile up at her saying

" yeah im fine, sorry I was thinking"

kristina looks down her eyes look a bit glossy. I poke her side

"Rayne..." she says hesitantly

"do you like him?" she holds out her hand

I grab her hand and pull her in for a hug.

"kristina you are my best friend yes.I think your brother is kind of cute but that won't get in the way of our friendship I promise"

I see her pull away and smile holding out her pinky. she starts to giggle and says

"pinky promise?"

I wrap my pinky around hers

"pinky swear" :)
