A New life

This book is my first book that I have wrote and it's still in progress. It will take awhile to finish it because of everything that be going on. But I promise with every little time I have I will update -love tee

I am now on the plane to Chicago to move in with my uncle. The flight seemed like forever. Until the plane begin to lower down to the flat surface underneath us.
As I get off the plane after landing I text my uncle to notify him that I was here. He sent me a text stating to walk to the airport station.

Honestly I can admit that I was nervous to meet him again after the incident with my parents. Its been 2 months since the accident (well it wasnt really a accident but I like to believe that it was) happened with my parents.

As I walked to the airport I spotted him "Hey uncle Thomas" I said while giving him a hug. Uncle Thomas was Darkskinned with a afro and a nicely shaved beard that went well with his light brown eyes. He grabbed my luggage and begin to walk beside me.
"How have you been beautiful?" He asked.
"I've been good, actually I am doing better" I lied. I am totally not doing better , I live with guilt. I haven't slept nor ate. I was starting to get worried about myself. I was even getting thin. Ok im exaggerating but I was losing weight.
I think my uncle realized that I was lying cause soon he said " Are you sure cause its look like you havent slept nor ate and have you lost some weight ?" I just stared at the ground ignoring his question.

Before things got any weird we walked near his car. He had a nice red Chevy truck. I got in the passenger seat while he loaded the trunk with my belongings. When he finished we were now on the road. As he drove I sat in the passenger seat listening to my music and while looking out the window the whole time. Here go a new start into a new life.
We took a few breaks since it took long to get to his house. I went into the store and got me some chips and blueberry brisk. When I was on my way out the door I bumped into a old friend. "Hey katelyn, its been awhile since i've seen you ! You got so grown uppp !!" I said giving her a friendly hug. "Yea its been awhile. Where are you heading to?" She said nodding her head, "Chicago to move in with my Uncle." After telling each other life story I gave her my number and a hug. Then we was on the road again.

I know this chapter is really short but bare with me im still trying to come up with some ideas for this book.
