After we ate breakfast, which actually didn't take long because we had literally nothing, we went to go get dressed. I put on my favorite grey hoodie with a 5 Seconds Of Summer logo on it. My friend got me this when we became sophomores in high school. I then put on some ripped black jeans and my timberlands. I brushed out my hair and put it in a cute bun. After I put a little bit of makeup on, I grabbed my phone to look at what the battery percentage was at. Since my charger hasn't been working lately. Surprisingly it was at 100%. I unplugged it and put it in my pocket. I went out my bedroom door to see JB watching a rerun of The Suite Life On Deck. I shut my door rather loudly, trying to draw his attention. He turned around in his seat and shut the TV off.
"Ready to go?" He said with a smile.
"Yes." I say as I grabbed my wallet and house key.
"Then let's go." JB said as he got up from the couch and opened the door for me.
"Thank you~" I say as I walk out.
He grabs his wallet, keys and locks the door. Shutting it behind him.
~ 15 minutes later ~
We had arrived at the store. JB parked his car close to the entrance, not wanting to walk far. I grabbed a cart and put my wallet in the child seat. JB grabbed a sanitary wipe and wiped down the handle bar. While JB was throwing the wipe away, my phone buzzed. I took it out of my pocket and checked it.
"Oh no.." I said quietly.
"What?" JB asked, looking over my shoulder
"Oh..um.. Nothing." I said clearing the notification from my period tracker away, hoping he didn't see it.
"Okay? Anyways. Let's start shopping." JB smiled at me.
"Let's." I smiled back.
We started walking up and down the food aisles, grabbing cereal, pretzels, chips, candy, vegetables, ramen, fruits, and more.
"I'm going to go grab some drinks and some other things. I'll take the cart with me. You can go grab anything you need to grab. Any specific drinks you want?" JB asks.
"Hmm.. Maybe some sparkling water? Any flavor is fine. I actually do need to grab some things. Meet you at the register when we're done?"
"Got it. See you there." He says as he's walking away.
Once he turns the corner, I start speed-walking towards the medicine aisle. Looking at all the bottles, I finally find the Ibuprofen. Grabbing two bottles, I start walking towards the cosmetics aisle. I grabbed a few things that I was running low on, then making my way to the last aisle before I meet Jaebeom at the register.
I finally reach the pad/tampon aisle. My period tracker alerted me that I was going to start tomorrow, and I'm not prepared at all. The month before I moved to the dorms.. I used up the last bit of supplies I had, and never thought about shopping about it. I looked at the different brands, trying to find the one I use all the time. My hands were getting full so I walked to the end of the aisle and grabbed a basket. Placing my items I already had into the basket, I continued looking for my brand. Once I finally found it I grabbed two boxes of tampons and a box of pads, placing them into the basket.
~ 5 minutes later ~
I've been waiting at the registers for a few minutes now. Looking around for JB. I finally spot him and wave him down. He must've spotted me because he smiles and starts walking a little faster. When he gets closer I hide my basket, trying not I make the items I'm buying known by him.
"I'll pay for the food and my stuff. You can go to the self check-out if you want to. Since you don't seem to have that much stuff."
"Really? Are you sure?"
"Yes Y/N. I'm sure. He smiles warmly at me as he starts getting in line.
"I'll come back in a minute." I say as I grab my wallet out of the cart and start walking towards the self check-outs.
I find an empty spot and start scanning my items. It doesn't take me long until I have to pull out my card. I scan the card, paying for my stuff. I grab the receipt and throw it away. Grabbing the bag my stuff is in, I walk towards where JB was checking out. When I got there he was paying for the items.
"Ready to go?" He asks me as he gets his receipt from the cashier.
"I've been ready." I giggle.
"Then let's go!" He laughs with me as we head out to the car.
I put my stuff in the front seat where I'm sitting and then go and help Jaebeom put the groceries into the trunk. After that he takes the cart to one of the cart returns. I get into the car and buckle up. Then JB gets into the car and starts it.
"Tomorrow we are having a lazy day." I say, stretching my arms.
"I'm okay with that." JB chuckles
