The next morning, I woke up at exactly 6:00 am, meaning I had just enough time to make both Jihun and I some lunch. Usually I only had time to make lunch for Jihun. Getting up, I shower and get dressed. Walking over to Jihun's room, I open the door and see him sitting up in his bed while rubbing his eyes. He looks over at me sleepily.

"Mommy, do I really have to go to school today?" He whines with a pout.
"Yes, my love. Besides, you have practice today for your recital that is in two weeks. The teacher said you had to learn your lines by now so it could come out perfectly when you perform." I say as I stroke his hair.

He groans softly and throws himself back into the bed. Jihun grabs the blankets and covers himself. I stand up and shake my head in disbelief. He is only four; school isn't even hard at his grade. I pick his uniform out and see the green Gucci tie on his bed stand. I smile at it and continue getting Jihun's uniform.

"Ahn Jihun! If you don't get up and change quickly, I won't make waffles." I say as I clean and shine his shoes.

His head pops out of the covers and he jumps up and out of the bed. I chuckle and smile. He takes off his pajama shirt and I slide on his dress uniform shirt. I completely dress him and he puts his shoes on.

"Brush your teeth, sweetheart. I'm going to make waffles and lunch."

He nods and heads off to the bathroom. I get to the kitchen and begin to make waffles. Humming in thought, I wonder what I should make for lunch. I made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches the last time; I will make a ham sandwich and cut up some veggies. I get to making lunch and my doorbell rings. Jihun runs from the bathroom to the front door.

"I got it, Mommy!" He shouts.
"No! Jihun you have breakfast to eat, I'll get the door."

He nods and runs over to the dining room; I place the plate of waffles in front of him. He was about to eat when I turned around and stopped him.

"Jihun, say your grace first." I scold him.

He nods once again, slaps his hands together and closes his eyes. Cleaning my hands on my apron, I head to the door. I open it and see the mail carrier, Baek Jum. Jum smiles when he sees me.

"Good morning Misun. You have mail from Busan. Good morning Jihun!" Jum smiles at Jihun, who still sat at the table waving at Jum with a mouth full of waffles.

I read the address where it's from and stared at it confused. Busan? I have not received a letter or mail from Busan in months. Jihun's father lives in Busan. I closed my eyes, hoping it wasn't a letter from him of all people. Sadly to my unfortunate self, it was. What could he want now? His last letter was absolutely stupid. He wanted me to pay for a toy he had bought for Jihun. I made sure Jihun never received the toy, not that I didn't want him to have it but it angered me knowing that his cheap sake father had the audacity to buy something and ask me for money to pay him back for it. Besides, he never comes to see Jihun. Jihun doesn't even know what he looks like. I open the letter in anger.
