background: my spin off of the game clips where peter had to go on a run for happy before the game started--------------------------------------------
peter rushed into the million dollar building and ran to the front desk.
"hi- hey um parker? p-peter parker. im an intern for mr. stark?"
the woman did some typing and then nodded her head.
"thanks!" he patted the table and started towards the elevator.
ding!
he stepped out and slammed into someone as he turned the corner.
"ow!" peter rubbed his head and looked up. it was happy and he didnt look very... erm happy.
"peter where the hell have you been?! you're late," he kept walking and looked through his ipad while scrolling through some emails.
"im sorry- i was up late last night doing some... watching," he whispered, hoping happy got the message that he was doing spider-man duties
"and i completely slept through my alarm! i promise it wont happen again-"
"the hell it wont. now go get me my coffee and pick up the mail from downstairs," happy rushed and tapped rapidly on his phone.
"yes sir a-and where... where do you wanna meet after?" peter followed happy like a limping puppy trying to catch up, all while dodging workers passing by in the hallway.
"oh you know i'll be around somewhere now go or im telling tony you're not doing your job," he glanced over and rose his eyebrows before quickly turning around and began talking to someone on the phone.
peter stood in the middle of the hallways as he regretted not asking where mr stark even was. he hasnt seen him for months now and happy would barely even keep him up about what's going on.
does mr stark even remember me? im an avenger after all... well almost, peter thought and shook his head before going back downstairs to do the errands.
being spider-man and a responsible teenager, of course, peter decided to travel by webs instead of bike.
he dropped in the alley way behind the coffee shop and changed out of his spider-man suit. he ran into the store thinking about what happy had ordered and wasn't paying attention, when suddenly he slammed into another person.
ouch! ugh again? man what is up with me today- peter froze.
in front of him was someone with the most gorgeous eyes. his mouth slight gaped opened as he kept standing there just staring.
"um hi can i help you?" they had a hand on their arm and was curious of why the boy wouldn't move.
peter blinked out of daze and his eyes widen at he realization that he hadn't even apologized yet.
"im so sorry i didnt watch where i was going and i bumped into you! are you okay? does your arm hurt bad?" peter rambled.
they giggled. "im okay, really. and it's okay we all have our days. im y/n by the way" they reached out their hand.
"im peter." he returned the handshake and nervously scratched his neck.
"soo... erm you go here often?"
what am i even saying, peter mentally slapped himself.
"yes, actually, i do. every weekend in the morning" y/n smiled.
peter melted a little bit and had to do everything to hold himself from acting like a fool. he cleared his throat.
"so i can expect to see you every week?" he cheekily smiled.
"yeah i guess you can" y/n returned.
you two stood there a little while, enjoying each other's accompany when peter's phone rang. he glanced down and saw that it was happy and his eyes widen.
"shoot um i have to go. i'll see you tomorrow? i mean-" peter coughed.
"yes," y/n laughed. "i'll be here"
peter whispered an 'okay' and slowly began to the ordering station, walking backwards so he could still look at y/n when he bumped into someone in line. his cheeks turned red when y/n saw and smiled before turning away to leave.
god i have to stop bumping into people, peter groaned and shook his head.
