"Dear, no!" my mom screamed. My eyes widen as I saw the scene that just happened.
"Oh my god. No. No!" the sight of my father dead on the floor and the dying cry of my mom had me frozen on my spot.
My father was shot down by a person. No, Loan Sharks.
And there they are. Laughing amusingly by the door they just barged in. They didn't get their money so they had to take lives.
I watched them in horror as they threatened my mom. She kept begging not to hurt us. Crying out loud to spare our lives. To at least spare mine.
But no, as soon as the person triggered his gun, I felt the warm blood of my very own mother on my face.
How did this happen? How did I get here? We were happy. We were safe. We weren't anywhere near harm. So why did loan sharks kill my family?
Money. We lost too much money.
And that's all because of me. Because I got kicked out of school for my wrong doings. Because I requested for everything even if we almost have nothing.
Everything was because of me and my selfishness. I blame myself for my family's life going downhill.
And I regret. I regret everything. If only I could fix all my mistakes, I would have saved my family from this. From this tragedy.
But all regrets happen in endings. And for me, as the antagonist of my own life, I have reached my end.
I looked at the man pointing a gun at me. He smiled and I closed my eyes.
