The Typical Quiet Girl (hiatus)

Chapter Six

Jaxon and I had just ended a Facetime. I had gotten a message from Jessica, my cousin, to call her right away.

"Hey, what's the emergency?"

"It's about Bella. You can't believe what I heard."

"What about me?" Bella said as she was also in the Facetime with us. Bella was Jessica's older sister and my other cousin.

"You're dating my friend's cousin! Why didn't I know about this? I know everything about you."

"Wow, stalker much?" I commented, still thinking that she was joking around.

"No, for real. She's dating. I just shared a post for you to see. Look at the two of them eating fries."

I looked at Jessica's message on the social media app we always used. My eyes widen as I saw a taller girl kiss Bella's cheek as Bella was stuffing her face with fries. I was completely shaken. The girl that likes to stay in her room 24/7, sleep 10+ hours a day, spends 5 hours patiently doing her acrylic nails, hates speaking to other human beings, or even be near them was dating. Bella just rolled her eyes as she continued playing on her phone. Or was she texting her girlfriend? I couldn't see the screen to tell.

"Ha! You're last Jessica!"

"That's all you say? Seriously Tris?"

"Teehee," I answered with a cheeky smile.

Sure, it was shocking to see my antisocial cousin dating someone. But then again, she's quite clingy when she's all happy hanging with us sometimes. She also likes to spoil us which was like a moment of grace because of her extremely stinginess with her money and anything that is connected with her.

"It's about time. She's like what, 22 years old?"

"Not what the outside looks like though. She acts like a complete teenager."

"So what about you, Jessica?"

"Nope."

"Not even Dante?"

"We talked about this before."

"Aye, Tris. You're dating that Jaxon kid? Jace just told me," Bella cut in with an amused look on her face.

"Yeah, for like a whole semester now. We don't really do much but hang out."

"Triple date!" Bella shouted.

"What triple date. I'm not dating anyone yet!"

Jessica scolds Bella and continued with her assignments while she talked with us. Bella gave a mysterious smile on the screen and I assume Jessica didn't see it as she was reading a question. I kept quiet because it was fun to see what is going to happen. Bella left the Facetime and said she was sleeping. Jessica and I both know that she's actually going to be playing games and chatting with her girlfriend.

I chatted with Jessica as I finally started to clean my room. It was a rat hole. Filled with junk, dirty clothes, and items randomly place everywhere. I first picked all my dirty laundry and placed them in the laundry basket. I put away the unnecessary stuff and organize my makeup. I took the sheets off my bed to wash them and got new ones out of the closet. I made my bed and vacuum the carpet. I took out some wipes and cleaned the surfaces of any dust and dirty substances from the food I brought into my room.

I finally got everything cleaned and went to take a shower. I was an early sleeper. Around 10:30 pm was my initial bedtime. I went to sleep after my hair was dry and woke up still tired af. I don't know how people are able to wake up so early in the morning. I dragged my body out of bed and went to get ready.
