Late Christmas Gifts

It was a bright day, yet glistening snow littered the ground, reminding you that winter was still here. You knew that a snow day wasn't gonna stop U.A. High School from making it's students learn on such a chill day, even though it was a perfect day to bother Jirou to convince her to make a song with you on this day that made you feel like jingles could still be made, despite it not being Christmas anymore.

Or maybe call up Momo to make cute clothes to try for the remainder of winter (or shop for some since she wants to live it down like us "common folk"). Oh well, you'd just have to settle for bothering people with late Christmas gifts. Why? Well, why not? Giving should be all year round, so...

On your lunch break, you sit with Mina, Kaminari, Kirishima, Sero, and Bakugou. As usual, there is enough chaos to go around.

"I'm just saying Bakugou, if you weren't a constant fireball, girls would be all over you!" Kaminari stated matter-of-factly. "Bet you didn't get any presents last year, and you coulda had a ton if you learned how to caress a few girls with a couple of honeyed words, y'know?"

"Piss off, short-circuit. At least I can use my strength without being useless after! You should've wished for some more brain cells and endurance for Christmas, now it's too late."

"Bakugou, jesus," Kirishima flinched. "You eat breakfast this morning? Did you get a nice glass of orange juice? You could use some Sunny D right now, you're putting Kaminari under your weather." Kirishima looked over at the blonde boy, stricken now in Mina's arms being faux-comforted, while Sero didn't bother to hide his snickering. The familiarity between them all is something you will always be used to.

Wasn't the only reason you liked hanging around them, though.

You, still carrying the jolly from Christmas, asked: "So, what did you all get for Christmas?"

"What's it matter."

"Bakugou." Kirishima shook his head. "I got some more hair gel because I was running out," he chuckles as he rubs the back of his neck. "What about you, (Y/N)?"
"Well, I didn't get anything crazy, just a new set of headphones and a phone. I honestly bought more presents for you guys!" I pulled my mystery bag out where the group could see it. Kaminari perked up. "Oh (Y/N), you sweet thing. Did you know that you're best girl." I creased my eyebrows and gave a skeptical half-smile. "Really? Because all I got you was a new leather jacket 'cause your old one...little scruffy now." I handed him the jacket, a few tinges more of decorations than his jacket before, and his face did glow a bit more.
"Thank you, you're still the best!"
I scoffed a little, and continued on with my giveaway. "Mina, I got you a--" Mina took them before I could finish, "Ooh, a pair of gloves and a beret!" She beamed. "I'm glad! My parents usually don't get me gloves because they assume that because I shoot acid from my hands, that I don't use gloves. I'm not always using my quirk, sheesh," she drawled as she rolled her eyes. "And these are stylish, thank you!!"

"I got both you and Bakugou some shirts I think you'll like, heheh." I smirked devilishly (?) as Kirishima took the black shirts I handed him. He opened one up, revealing bold white letters that say I'll Die For My Bro. "Niceee," he passed Bakugou the other shirt. "Open yours, Bakugou! Bet it's better than mine!" Bakugou clicked his tongue and opened the shirt.

"Oh hell no," he said from deep within, his hand opposite of the one holding the shirt, which read I'll Ride For My Bro, flaring up with small explosions, "Ain't no way in hell I'm wearing this!"
"Oh come on, bro, it's just an expression!"

As Bakugou and Kirishima bicker like childhood friends (rip deku) about them wearing the shirts and the squad and students nearby witnessing their spat, I palmed the last of my gifts that I "made" myself (courtesy of Momo, bothering her at last minute and promising her food).

"Sero, I got you something too!"
"Oh? I get something? I thought I was just here to get a good laugh, which I did." Sero gave me his usual default, but beautiful smile as he looked down at me. "I don't need anything, (Y/N)."
"Sero, gift-giving isn't about what you need, so hush. I wanted to give you something because you're great. Or at least, I think you're great." Flushed slightly, I gave him the present I wrapped up with wrapping paper. He looked at the coincidentally plain-looking box. "What, no bows?" He inquired.
I snorted. "Your name is 'Santa Hero,' I think you can wrap the bow yourself if you wanna be all tedious about the little stuff." I continued to laugh about the dumbest joke I ever made. Sero deapanned at me. "You waited until a whole year passed to make that joke. And you didn't even make it on time." I wiped away a fake tear. "I like being late to things. Anyways, open it!"
Sero opened it, and there were about five-long sleeved shirts. He sighed. "Aw, (Y/N), this is a nice thought for the winter, but you know I can't wea--"
"Ah, nope, shut up, look at them clearly before speaking, gosh." Sero eyes widened at my interruption and then blinked a couple of times before turning his attention back onto the shirts. "Open one and stop taking forever," you huffed. He unfolded one, and looked down at the elbows.

"Ohh."

There were slots were his elbows would slide into. "Wow, that's pretty thoughtful. I usually just wear short sleeve shirts because trying to cut wholes into long sleeves was too much to bother with, so I just stuck with my forearms being a little chilly," he laughed, "You really didn't have to, but I appreciate it, (Y/N). Thanks for thinking of me." He gave you a little sweet lopsided smile, a slight tint of pink dressing his cheeks as he conveyed his gratefulness through simple but to you, powerful, heart-wrenching facial expressions.
You sighed contently, but smiled nonetheless,
"Of course. You're never far from my thoughts, Sero."

"Wha..?"

"B-because your arms shoot tape! You know how many Office Depot memes I can make outta that?!"

You were happy you could get something for them, even if they wasn't the most expensive gifts. A nice gesture is just as good right? Especially if those gestures get through to those you send them to.

"So, Sero..."

"Huh?"

"You sure you're not Santa?"

You were met with the loud sound of tape snapping away from the source, then smacked onto your face, and slid not-so-gently across your mouth.

"Shut up, (Y/N)."
