The boy who stood before me was the same age as I and was dressed in a black t-shirt and jeans.

"I assume your my new playmate."

He had his hands on his hips and was frowning, but something was off. His hair was brown and his eyes the same. He was quite beautiful compared to me.

"Y-yes."

'Why am I so nervous?'

"Well I don't need you."

He crossed his arms and furrowed his eyebrows.

"B-but-"

"Oh, shut up and leave."

He turned around and put his back to me. For some reason anger quickly welled up inside of me. I grabbed his shoulder, turned him around, and threw him against the wall.

"I left my twin brother for this! My whole life was turned around due to your spoiled ass!"

He looked surprised. I even surprised myself. I flushed and let him go.

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"

I stopped when I heard giggling. I looked up to see him smiling and on the ground. His small giggles became loud laughing.

"Uh....."

He began to calm down and stood up.

"That was quite the show. I think you and I will get along quite nicely."

He held out his hand to me. I blushed a little and hesitantly took it.

And that's how our friendship began.

•••••

I heard a gentle knock at my door.

"Mmm?"

"Yuki, breakfast is ready and Hiroshi plans on going into town with you."

I shot right up and started grinning. This was going to be my first time in a long time that we were getting out of this wretched mansion. It's been 5 years since I moved here with the Nakagawa's. Hiroshi turned out to be quite the jerk when I got here, but in time we grew to be friends.

"You have 30 minutes Yuki."

"Ok."

I quickly threw on a black shirt with some skintight jeans. I ran to the restroom and combed my hair and brushed my teeth. Once I finished I threw on some black high-tops and ran down stairs. After about 2 months of living here, I knew the mansion like the back on my hand. Hiroshi was already at the table eating breakfast.

"You started without me Hiro-chan!?"

He looked at me through the corner of his eyes and put his silverware down.

"It's because you're too slow."

I put on a pouty face and sat down. One of the butlers came and put a plate of food in front of me.

"Are you ready to go into town?"

I looked up from my plate and nodded while smiling.

"Well then, finish up."

He got up and left. The butler took his plate as well as mine as soon as I got up. I ran outside to see that the same old limo was parked outside.

"Is this really necessary?"

"Yes."

He climbed in and I followed. We rode downtown and got off there.

"Where to?"

"Honestly! You're supposed to choose!"

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. I'm love him as a friend but sometimes he can be just plain careless. I turned to face him and realized he was glaring at me.

'Oh no. Angry Hiro-chan is never a good sign.'

"Wahh!!!!"

I tried to make a break for it but he grabbed my shoulder.

"Get over here pig."

"I didn't m-mean it Hiro-chan."

He pulled me by my collar and off we went. He let go after a while of me whining and him calling me pig relentlessly. We walked around and window shopped. We to a stand that had pink sweet buns with strawberry filling.

"Mmm....they smell delicious."

I sniffed the air and smiled. I kept my eyes close and kept sniffing.

"Here."

I opened my eyes and saw that Hiro-chan was holding one out to me.

"Ah, thanks. You didn't want one?"

"I don't do sweets."

"Oh."

I gently grabbed the bun from his hands and held it with my own two. I closed my eyes and took a bite.

"Mmmm........!"

We never eat this stuff since the chef would never agree to make this. He says it's only for commoners.

"You should really try some."

I held out the bun to him.

"I told you. I don't do-"

"Aww. C'mon."

I put on my pouty face and tried to look as helpless as possible. He looked at me and for some reason quickly turned away and covered his face.

"Hiro-chan?"

"Fine."

He leaned over and took a bite while it was still in my hands.

"Good?"

He chewed with his eyes close for a minute and then opened them.

"I think I just might love sweets now."

"Yay!"

I giggled and did a twirl.

"Calm down. I said I think."

"Yea, sorry."

For the rest of the day we just walked around until it was time to leave. We met up with the limo driver and went home.
