Prologue

I stared at the dark sky waiting for the rain to come down. It might have sense my hidden emotion today so it comes to accompany me.

I was trying to think over and over again about the thing that bothers me. I've been planning this but now that it's time to do it I'm not sure if it's the right thing anymore.

I sipped on my juice and took a bite on my red velvet cake. I've been waiting for almost an hour and he's still not here. I pulled my phone out of my pocket, ready to call him but then the door of my room suddenly opened and there he is.

I stand up, "What took you so long?" I asked directly looking at his eyes.

Damn I will definitely miss those eyes.

"Sorry I didn't know it was gonna rain so I don't have an umbrella with me." He smiled slyly while scratching his neck.

He walked towards me and that made me took a step back. No, I don't want him to be close to me.

He stopped on his track when he saw me took a step back. "What's wrong New?"

I shrugged. I'm stuck. My mouth won't let me speak the things I wanna say but I have to do it. I need to end this.

I sighed deeply and looked at his eyes. He's questioning my behavior right now and I can see those pain, curiosity and worry on his face. 'Go new you can do this' I whispered to myself.

"Let's break up Tay. Let's go on our separate ways."

And there, I saw tears rolling down his face and I couldn't do anything but to stand on my ground and bear the throbbing pain.
