Chapter 1: Running Away

Allow me to introduce myself. Hello! I am Lucia Goth, a six year old small town girl living in a lonely world. I am running away because my entire family have passed away and I am living with my best friend but her mother treats me horrible, so I decide to just run away and maybe my bestie will find me, who knows. So it was a dark raining night and I was packing up my things to run away. As I was walking through the rainy night, I ended up walking through some unfamiliar pathways and thought I was lost but then, I made my way up a hill where I saw a nice mansion that kinda looked like I have seen something like this before but I wasn't for sure exactly until I saw a sign saying "Dante Manor" my eyes lit up. I continued my way towards the mansion and ding the doorbell. I waited for a response but no answer, til 5 minutes later....the door opened and a Latina woman dressed like a maid said, "Hello there, sweetheart! You're just in time for the party! Please come in!" I smiled at her and entered the manor slowly, hearing I was just in time for a party it made me wonder if....nah...never mind. So the Latina maid guided me to the dining room where the party was. As I was walking through, this place looked very familiar and little did I know...It was! "It's time to blow out the candles now, remember to make a wish honey." said a lady that looked like I someone I seen before, in fact all these people looked familiar! As the birthday person blew out the candles, everyone included me clapped and cheered. Then a guy that was the father of the birthday person told his father, "Did you see that dad? Man they grow up so fast! I remember my sixth birthday like it was yesterday." I was so shocked. All this I was seeing and hearing was everything I remembered from a game I played before. Then, the lady spoke again knowing she was the mother of course. "Mary, could you please clean up. Lucius can help you with the dishes. He can stay up later this evening to play with his new toys but in bed, no later than ten." and then another maid that looked like in her mid-fifths spoke. "Yes, ma'am."
