Chapter 3: Not a witness

As I rolled over, I started to feel steaming hot like the house was on fire and little did I know...I was right but it was for a good cause(not really though)Lucius's real father, Lucifer was in his room giving him some birthday presents, a notepad, a flashlight and some batteries for the flashlight, and telling him about the leaving padlock still on the freezer and told him to get it before all the adults wake up, so that's just what Lucius did. I stayed in his room and went back to sleep. Morning hit and I jumped up after hearing loud a scream then there was a knock at the door. It was Detective McMuffin...I mean McGuffin(Pewdiepie reference lol)Anyway, I got out of my sleeping bag stretching and head to the kitchen to make some coffee and Lucius was nowhere seen. I assume he was outside playing with Bengt the ball.(Pewdiepie's name for the ball, hehe)When I got to the kitchen, I heard talking about how Mary the maid might have died. "Was it a seizure of some kind?" Nancy asked, aka Lucius's mother. Then they noticed me and ask if I knew anything since I was the one helping with the dishes last night. "Hey there, Little Girl...." McGuffin got my attention and Charles aka Lucius's so-called father continued on. "sweetie, you and Lucius were helping out Mary with dishes right?" I was paused for second trying to think of a lie to say because I knew who killed the maid but I didn't want to say anything but I had to say something. "Umm...yes...why? Something...happened?" I answered kinda firmly. "Do you know anything about what happened to her death, last night?" McGuffin asked me, then I did another paused for a second and I shook my head quick. "No. I had no idea!" I lied. "A-after me and Lucius got done helping with the dishes, we went up to bed." I continued to lie and they actually bought it. Lol "Okay, thanks. You may go and play now with Lucius." I was told by Charles but McGuffin looked at me like I was hiding something but he let me go anyway. After getting my coffee, I went outside to watch Lucius playing with Bengt in the garden. I didn't say anything to him, I just sat in front of the fountain drinking my coffee then I heard a voice behind me. "Hey Lucia,you sleep well?" I turned my head and it was Lucius! "Hey!" I replied in excited voice. "Yeah, I did. What about you?" I continued on. "I slept like the dead!" Lucius said making me giggle. "Want to play with me and Bengt?" he asked me. I nodded my head and finished up my coffee and played with Lucius and Bengt the ball.
