Drift

ARCADE - Chapter 1:

I wrote this fanfic with inspirations from Sword Art Online, I absolutely loved this anime despite all the negative feedback it gets, I still like it and a reimagined it in a Americanized version with a story series I created for Fan-fictions called Drifts Stories of my own that bleed into other realities and other stories making my own style of original Fanfictions

The entire classroom filled with sounds whispers overlapped by laughter. "Mr. Barrett", I turn to Professor Boardman my english teacher, "You were suppose to write a short essay on a historical leaders. Not one of your books fill with lies. I tilt my head to the side a little. "Lies ... Really lies do you know what I think YOU are !"

LATER THAT DAY
While i was at the park with my friends i re explained what happened and how I cursed out Professor Boardman. "Oh my gosh you really said that !" Makenna say as her eyes widen. "Nope he stared at him down for about a minute and then took his seat." Lilly says with a smirk. " Well, I was saying it in my mind." He retort. I feel a chill run down my back. I look behind me as a mushroom cloud erupts in the sky. I stand along with all with rest my friends as rumbling sound reaches underneath us then we two people Oliva and Brittany running they were shouting something that was inaudible. That when the black smoke rolled into visibility. That's when i realized what they were saying and I yelled it out " RUN !!!!!" As we ran out of the park running down the street I saw the smoke surround Oliva and brittany I closed my eyes  and they turned blue as my surrounding slowed down I enhanced my vision as if i was a camera  zooming in on them i saw a portal open up and suck them in as they were sucked in I saw trees and grass with a mountain type landscape. {" THE ARCADE!!!!"} I closed my eyes again and everything restarted at normal pace I ran as fast as I could i ran behind makenna and lilly and touch their shoulder instantly a blue light flickered from my hands to the side of their arm engraving symbols on them. I ran towards chris and did the same thing along with Marlon, Kalia ,and Jacob as I tried to reach for corey the others the Smoke caught to me as i was sucked in. that when i realized The reasons I touched All the others was put a protective barrier around them to protect them in the arcade. Then I realized i didn't put a barrier on me which compromise my safety and If I  go down the others barriers go down with me and Were all hosed. That's the last thing I  remember before I blacked out.
