ARCADE - Chapter 2

Mike wakes up in the middle of a dark forest. He was dressed in plain clothing with a vest on. "there he is !!" A voice say as dozens of teenage boys surround him. "/he better be worth it." one says. "of course he is he's the chosen one." another says. "give him some room a voice shouts above the rest. As they clear a path for guy once visible and Mike adjusts to the dark night he sees Corey standing hand extended. " 'bout time you got here." he says smiling. "Corey ?" Mike says dazed as he looks around at the several dozen teenage boy varying in age between 14 - 18. as he spins around serving the area. "The arcade ...." Mike says breathing heavily. "Ok so you know where you are ." Corey response. "Of course I know I ...I ... HOW!!, WHY!!, I locked the arcade up years ago !!" Mike response hysterically as he freaks out.
Brooke : I push through the crowd of boys I watch as Mike push several boys off of him as they attempt to restrain and calm him down. As Joel a friend of my twin brother Corey falls to ground in front of me. I scough as I step over him as I see Mike panting and throwing someone else off of him. I raised my hands to signal for everyone to stop as I swing my right hand and smack Mike across the face. I grab his collar and pull on it as hard as I can and raise him up. "Mike .... calm down ...Now !!!"I Say in his face and release him as he collapses to the ground. his eye closed he inhales. "Captain Thunder !!!" A boy says pushing through the crowd. Covered in dirt "The Ogres ... they slaughtered the right guard ... their where 5x's as many as we thought." He says between panicking and panting. Everyone freezes in fear. Mike exhales. "Corey, Brooke find Christain we'll deal with the ogres. "Wait how did you know ..." Corey stutters as Mike interrupts him. "Joel take the others and get back to town." "What are you four going to do against 20 ogres? Especially with little to no armor and no weapons." Joel says. "May not have the attributes you have acquired, BUT ..", Mike says as he accesses and goes his armory, " I have much more experience and skill in this world than anyone else. A dark blue leatherjacket fitted with a black hood appears around Mike as he stands up and unsheathes his sword that appeared on his back. "let's go" I say as we watch everyone else run out of the forest. I look at them as we run toward a meadow of flower, there stood 19 8 feet tall ogres all armed with weapons. Then the last one comes into view 12 ft tall pale Ogre outfitted with just enough clothing to cover his man parts body, covered in scars and blood. Corey show up Christian at his side. "Remember Corey to rise above monster ..." Mike says. I finish his quote "... we must abandon our humanity." "Well that won't be too hard, I left humanity in my other pants, all I have are these. " I remove my pistols and load them.
