Walking through the crowded city of New York on Christmas eve was the last thing Emily planned to do, but when you are working for a boss as demanding as Hailee Stone one of the biggest designers in New York, the only thing you can do is dance to her tune.

With a grunt, Emily repositions the strap of the clothing bag on her shoulder to make her crossing easier. Since she was running late to deliver the dress to a client, Emily takes the risk of crossing a few seconds before the traffic light changes from red to green. Almost at the other side of the road, she is brought to a stop when a car comes speeding down her path. Thinking this to be her last moment on earth she squeezes her eyes shut and prays for forgiveness for all the bad things she has done in her lifetime. Seconds turned into minutes before she opens her eyes to realize that she is still alive and the car had stopped just a few inches away from her, it was then she noticed that the driver had a deep scrawl on his face but that was all she could make out of his face before a loud honk rang in the air making her jump away from the car.

It was then Emily's phone went ringing giving her another scare in less than five minutes. The name of her boss flashed on the screen of her phone which caused panic to set into Emily's mind. As she picked up the call her boss began to rant " Emily, what exactly is going on in that mind of yours, the client called to tell me that she hasn't received her dress that should have been on her body an hour ago. You do know that if we lose this client your job in this company is over so you had better get your butt moving and get to the client's house in the next five minutes or you don't bother coming in to work on Monday capisce" and before she could give her boss a response the line went dead.

  Pushing all that happened
in the last ten minutes to the back of her mind, Emily made her way into the apartment complex where she is to deliver the dress. After getting the apartment number from the receptionist, she made her way towards the elevator to start her stressful trip to the Thirty-eight floor. Immediately the ding of the elevator door opening was heard, Emily ran out like a woman been attacked by bees in a frantic effort to get to the door on time.

After ringing the doorbell, Emily comes face to face with a repackaged plastic human who has way too much makeup on that can be used on twenty people."hey my name is Emily and I'm here to deliver a dress to a Miss Lillian", but the response she received wasn't something Emily expected. The woman who had opened the door for her threw snarky comments at her"hey delivery girl whatever your name is, take that dress back to your boss and tell her I no longer need the dress and tell her I'll be expecting a refund for the down payment of that dress". "Miss Lillian if you could just take a look at the dress you would-" and before Emily could finish her statement the door was slammed shut in her face." Well there goes my job," Emily said.

Making her way out of the apartment building Emily noticed the change in the weather "ugh not today " she said and proceeded to bring her phone out of her bag to book a place to stay tonight since the storm coming won't be letting anyone leave the area.
"Hello, this is the Wallace hotel how may I help you" Emily clears her throat and then replies"I'd like to book a room for tonight in your hotel under the name Rogers." "yes Mrs. Rogers how long do you plan to stay for", "just for tonight thank you, and I'll be making the payment when I get there". Then Emily ends to call and waits for a taxi to pick her up.
