hello diary!!! I'm your new owner! My name is Marshall James Komiya.... I know you probably don't care, since you're just a diary, but.... Well, let me tell you how I got you! My brother, Gene! He gave you to me, because I needed a better way to get out my feelings.. I'm not a talker.... I'm really shy when it comes to people... But, you're different, diary. You're not gonna hurt me... I think so, anyways. You don't call me names, so that's a good start!!! Tomorrow is also my first day of school, and I'm really nervous about it.. The bullies from middle school were really mean... Thankfully though, I'm going to this special school called 'Hopes Peak'. I'm the Ultimate Ice Cream Maker, according to my acceptance letter!! I wish my old friends could see this and we could celebrate together... I haven't seen them in years though, so they probably forgot about me... But, as long as they're happy somewhere, I'm happy too! They were so kind to me.. I wish I had a chance to pay them back..
It's getting late!! Gene just told me to get some sleep.. I'll write in you tomorrow after school, okay? Goodnight diary!
