It was 4:30 A.M when my alarm clock goes off

It was time, New York here I come.

I turned my alarm clock off

And went downstairs.

My mom and dad were already packing.

"Good morning sweetie!" They said with a cheerful smile.

"Yeah barely a morning." I said

"Honey, you're going to live in a very nice home in New York with a better school, you can get a better education." My father said.

I shrugged and walked away.

I walked outside and took a look at what I was going to miss the most.

The pond, every year the ducks come around and have their babies.

'I'm really going to miss you guys'

I said to the ducks swimming in the pond.

They let out a quack as if to say "goodbye."

"Yeah goodbye." I said back.

I went inside and started packing.

When I was finished I put all my bags downstairs by the door.

"I'm going to take a shower."

I said to my parents.

I took a shower got dressed and went to my room again.

Wow. I'm really going to miss all of my friends and how we used to sneak out in the middle of the night and meet at the store across the street.

I called up my friends and invited them over to say goodbye.

Then we left for New York

It was a 6 hour car ride.

We arrived at our new house.

It was huge. Bigger than my old house.

I walked in and explored.

My room had a blue wallpaper with a pink tint to it.

And my bed had blue and pink striped bedding.

I had a walk in closet.

"I guess I could get used to this!" I said out loud to myself.

School started in a month it was still summer.
