I was getting ready to leave my house to go and pick up Nick and Ricky. During the hour I hadn't done much, I charged up my Nikon D3300 camera batteries so, if I see anything I will be able to get pictures of it. I ate a snack and took a small nap. That was it.

So, I hopped into my car and decided to go and pick up them. It didn't take me long to reach the first gate I had to exit out of. When I pulled up to the gate, I noticed a snake laying in the grass. Specifically an eastern diamond back rattlesnake. It's wide head, rattling tail, and distinctive pattern gave it away. I rushed to grab my camera and I zoomed all the way in I possibly could. Opening the driver door slowly and standing up trying to get a better picture. After snapping a few, I was about to finish taking pictures when suddenly the snake lunges up onto the hood of my car while I was taking pictures of it. After that I quickly rushed to shut my door and began to reverse quite rapidly in order to get the snake off of my car. To my dismay it did not budge. I then decided to try driving in circles.

The snake had slowly moved toward the edge of the car when all of the sudden, it's tail got caught in the tire and it yanked it to the ground. I quickly reversed away from it before it decided to get back on the car. I could see it laying there almost as if it was lifeless but, I could tell it was still alive and way to close to the gate for me to be able to open the gate. To my luck, someone happened to be driving by to the neighboring property. I was able to flag them down to stop right outside the gate.

"Is everything alright?" The guy asked. "You wouldn't happen to have a gun would you? There is a rattlesnake in the way of the gate for me." "Yeah, I have one. Just give me a minute." He pulled out a shotgun and crossed through the barbed wire. He was about ten feet away from the snake before he began to fire. He fired six rounds into the snake, causing its head/neck area to become separated from the rest of its body.

"Thank you, so much." I yelled to him as he checked to make sure there was no longer a bullet in the chamber. He waved and said anytime and went back through the barbed wire as I pulled up to the gate. I grabbed the keys and opened the gate, pulling through and then closing it afterwards.

When I reached the second gate, it was already open allowing me to cruise right through it.

I drove down the all to familiar dirt road. Before I had left the house, I googled their address and I knew exactly where I needed to go on the dirt road to get to their house.

I had reached their gate, where I got out of my vehicle and put the code into the lock and opening up the gate. I closed the gate after driving through it and slowly drove up the long driveway. When I reached the house, I was amazed at what stood in front of me. It was a beautiful two story house.

It was kind of modern but, still had some classic touches to it.

I turned my car off and got out of the vehicle. I texted Nick telling him that I was outside and I walked up to the front door. After a couple of seconds Nick comes to the door and says "Hey Hope, come on in and I'll show you around."

So, we started to walk throughout the entire house. He had decided to show me the upstairs first and then the downstairs. "So here is our upstairs living room, and two spare bedrooms that have their own bathrooms." We then walked down a hall way and he said "Here is Ricky's room, my room, and another spare room." We walked into the spare room first. It seemed to be the same as the other spares. Then we walked into Ricky's room.

Inside his room, he didn't have much. Just a dresser and a bed. Then we went inside Nick's room. His room arguably was the best out of all the rooms I had seen so far. It had a balcony that overlooked the pool as well as a pond and a wetland. The interior of his room was minimal like Ricky but, he had a desk with a computer set up on it and a bedside table.

After that, we went downstairs and began to look around the bottom floor. We started with the far side of the house which was what he called Ricky's office. When we walked in, I was amazed. This office was double the size of my small bedroom. It even had its own bathroom and a sauna room. Then he showed me his parents bedroom and their bathroom. Then we used the sliding doors in his parents room to go outside to the pool. "You see those turtles in the pool?" Nick asked. "Yeah." I said. "The big one is Carl and the smaller one is Benjamin." Nick said. I just look at him and started to laugh. "Ok, then. I guess those are some good names for pool turtles." I said while continuing to laugh. We then walked over to another sliding glass door and went back inside.

It was then that I had noticed that there was three other people in the room. "Hey Nick, are you going to introduce us to your friend?" Who I assumed was his mom asked. "Yeah, Dad, Mom, and Ricky, this is Hope. Hope this is my mom, dad, and Ricky my brother." "Nice to meet you guys. " I said pretty softly because, I don't like meeting a lot of people at once. "Nice to meet you Hope." His dad said. "So yeah, this is the living room and that is the kitchen." Nick said pointing to our left. I looked over and I think I was in love. The kitchen was beautiful. It had granite countertops, a huge freezer/fridge, as well as a dishwasher. "Your kitchen is beautiful. I wish we had a kitchen like this at my house." I said. "Well, your always welcome to come over and use it Hope, I just won't promise that Ricky and Nick won't eat all of whatever you make." Nick's mom said laughing. "Thank you so much. I may have to take you up on that offer and they can be taste testers, so I won't have to eat whatever I make if it's bad." I said laughing.

"Alright, Ricky, are you ready to go and explore the city?" Nick asked. "Alright, let me grab the camera and let's go." Ricky said running to his office.
