3.
I made my way out onto a side street and hopefully it will take me somewhere that I can start my new journey.
After about 15 minutes of driving I've reached a small town.
It doesn't really have any life to it.
When I first entered the town there was a motel and a gas station that looked to be over 50 years old and run down.
I noticed that my gas pedal was almost at empty and I'm planning on driving till I find somewhere that has a little more life to it.
I pull into the gas station and an old woman came out to greet me.
Her name tag read "Liz" and she looked awfully familiar.
"Hey there darling, what can I get for ya?" She said.
"50 regular please" I said.
After she pumped the gas I went inside the little store to pay for my tank of gas.
It was bigger then it looked. Inside there was a few tables and chairs, almost like a small diner. There was an older man that sat at one of the tables drinking coffee and reading a newspaper that looked like it was from the 1970's.
She only charged me $25.00 dollars because i was the first customer they had in 8 years.
She offered my a cup of coffee and a chocolate chip muffin.
I was starving since I haven't ate yesterday at 8:30 in the morning and it was now 4:15 in the afternoon the next day.
But I'm use to not eating for long periods of time.
After I ate I checked the time and it was now 6 pm.
I decided I should head out if I wanted to find somewhere I can stay for a little while until I figure out what I wanna do with my life since I am now free.
