Eating Vinegar

Yun Lan rolled his lollipop loudly in his mouth while watching their busty waitress flirt all night with his Wei Wei. They were at a newly opened steak house nearby the university. Yun Lan heard about it from Xiao Guo who made Chu take him, who came back raving about how awesome the food was. All Yun Lan had to do was to ask the quiet professor and professor said yes to a nice dinner date.

Their waitress "accidentally" touched Shen Wei's hand again while setting up their cutleries. She returned with their basket of bread and this time, tried to "accidentally" brush her boobs against the clueless professor.

"Yun Lan, are you alright?" Shen Wei asked. Yun Lan propped his hands on the table and rest his head on it.

"Nothing. Nothing at all," Yun Lan said slowly, still rolling his lollipop loudly. He continued staring at his Wei Wei, who started to look away as usual, feeling shy.

"You are definitely not alright if you keep staring at me. Anything the matter?" Shen Wei braced himself and looked up.

"You don't really realize it do you?" Yun Lan asked, leaning in further.

"Realize what?" 

"That our waitress here is trying to flirt with you?" Yun Lan said just in time for the waitress to return with their meals.

Yun Lan gave a big fake smile but she took no notice and kept blinking her eyes to Shen Wei, who finally understood.

"See? I gave her the biggest, most sincere smile and she didn't even bat an eyelid. She obviously has the hots for you," Yun Lan said, quickly chewing his lollipop so he can start on dinner.

"Or maybe you are overthinking this. She was just being polite?" Shen Wei countered.

"Polite my ass, how dare she flirts with another man's man! Doesn't she see that you are obviously my man and that you are all mine?" Yun Lan started mumbling, Shen Wei almost choked on his water. He looked around the restaurant, lots of men sitting by twos in other tables.

"Yun Lan, I think it will be a hurdle for her to distinguish the fact that we are together, considering there are other gentlemen sitting by twos everywhere," Yun Lan looked around after Shen Wei explained.

"No way, we are the hottest around here, the others are all old men, and it's so obvious we are together! Still, if she flirts again with you, I'll throw a bitch fit," Yun Lan said, furiously cutting his medium rare.

"How so?" Shen Wei asked on purpose.

"I'll set any of my ghostly staff on her. That'll teach her a lesson for going on heat on other people's husband!," Yun Lan furiously stuff one bit into his mouth but because it was a big piece, gravy leaked around. Shen Wei found the scene too cute.

"So if my presumption is correct, are you jealous of that lady trying to flirt with me?" Shen Wei edged.

"Like duh! I know you from 10,000 years ago, she is just some dumb bimbo! To hell I'll let a bimbo double cross me, I'll have Xiao Guo no, Chu to put a hex on her, hell, I'll hex her,"Yun Lan went on and on rambling to himself.

Shen Wei smiled as he start to eat while listening to Yun Lan describe the would be vixen's torture. Sometimes it's nice to have a possessive wife.
