Floating.
That was what this felt like. The gentle rocking back and forth of the wooden object he was on was floating. And from the sounds of water hitting it ever so softly, it must be a boat.
Eyes of crimson slowly peeked open, looking to see nothing but a star-like sky above him. But he could tell, despite the confusion and slight sleepiness that the sky was nothing compared to what it was. It looked artificial, like someone had attempted to create it themselves.
His stomach had a strange feeling in it like he was somewhere he shouldn't be, or at least not yet. But as to where he was, he wasn't sure. This sure as hell wasn't the bottom of that canyon, as he was in a boat floating off somewhere.
Ever so cautiously, he rose up to see exactly where he was. The wooden boat rocking a bit more harshly as he gazed at the water. It too... looked artificial. Not natural, and even as the water run, it seemed off. He wasn't sure why, but he just knew.
Slowly, the ash blonde reached downward trying to grace his fingertips along the water and see what was wrong with it. Just a touch... that should get him at least a better idea of what was happening.
"Kacchan! Wait up!"
The male jerked back as suddenly the water burst with colors. The darkness it held before now changing to show a green haired male, no older than four or five attempting to catch up to a much younger version of him.
"You're too slow Deku!" The younger him shouted. "You can't be in my army if you can't even do a basic hike!"
He watched in shock at the water playing this memory. The liquid bringing some distortion to the sights, but he could still hear and see what was happening perfectly fine. The magic being used here... was something incredible.
"Name's Kirishima." Another familiar voice called out, this time coming from the other side of the boat. "And you're the chief's son, aren't you!"
Bakugou managed to see the next image right as he walked into view of the red-haired dragon. The male at this time looking much more similar to him now, but still having a little baby fat in his cheeks.
"Yeah so...?" He shrugged, making sure to destroy the last of the traps that had been causing this part of Tineen trouble.
"Do you have a dragon?!" Kirishima called, a blush on his face from the embarrassment of asking.
Bakugou blinked, anger growing on his face a moment later. "Why the hell do you care! I don't need a damn dragon to be a great fucking warrior!"
Kirishima's eyes lit up, Bakugou recalling how he believed him to be mental at this moment. And as he watched as Kirishima rushed over and gave him a thumbs up before pointing to himself, that famous smirk crossed the half-dragon's features.
"I'll be your dragon then!" He smiled. "We make a great team after all!"
Bakugou shook his head, recalling how it took a week of Kirishima begging and trying to prove himself before Bakugou finally gave in. The pair had been dragon and rider ever since...
"It's gonna be yours one day, you know. So you gotta treat everyone right, no matter what." His mother's voice reached his ears.
The ash blonde shifted to look towards the rear of the boat. His eyes landing on his mother gently coating a smaller him's knee with some healing gel. The younger him pouting, tears in his eyes.
