Part 10 (Final)
The aftermath of it all happened quicker than he expected. Within a few minutes of the League's leader being knocked unconscious and you having restricted not only Shigraki's portal using ally but also Cerius' empty chamber, a storm of Tineenians had immediately started to overthrow whoever was left.
News that their three-day king had already been overthrown and replaced by chief Mitsuki's son made everyone rush to show their support to him. And they all did so by binding and holding the assassins until their new ruler had decided what to with them.
And at the current moment, the day after everything had occurred Bakugou still wasn't sure what exactly to do. Plus with his mind still on what you had done and what it meant... he sure as hell hadn't had a clear mind to decide what to do.
His parents had stopped by to wish him well and to congratulate him on his new position. Mitsuki teasing him relentlessly about how he had finally accepted what he was always supposed to be, and him yelling loud enough to startle anyone who was unlucky enough to pass by the throne tent.
But even so, he knew that to be a good ruler, he should suck up the pride he had and asked his mouth for her opinion on what to do with the new captives. Mitsuki hummed, her fingers tapping against his bandaged arm.
"How about we execute them?"
Bakugou nearly lost it at that and there with his mother, her laughter after the fact not helping him call down. Masaru could only sigh, once more trying to settle the tensions between mother and son.
Mitsuki finally apologized for her off-color joke when Bakugou had started to threaten her with banishment. And with Masaru telling her to actually help him, or he wouldn't ask for her help again on serious matters, she seemed to understand it.
"It's really up to you... if it was me, some harsh community service and time in the dungeon would be enough. But you're the ruler now, Katsuki. And whatever you think fits, I'm sure will be just for their actions."
He had taken the words to heart... thinking long and hard about what he assumed would be fitting for the gang of killers. And finally settled on one punishment... though he'd need to ask the crown prince of the next kingdom over of he'd be allowed to transport them over.
He hated to admit it... but Highar had much more secure prisons. And as far as Bakugou was concerned... a life behind bars and no longer causing harm to the people fo Alcius was what these assassins had shown they deserved. And he'd make sure to fulfill the punishment he had chosen as right and proper for them.
Plus the sooner those criminal were out of his kingdom, the better not only his people, but he would feel as well. Now all he had to do was wait for that half-and-half to reply to his mail... and all would be finally settled when it came to the League of Assassins.
And so... he had turned his attention to other matters... which had been occupying his mind much longer today then he expected. But soon enough he'd have settled it. That is if he could sort through it all with little to no distractions.
The doors to his new chamber room opened up with a loud crash as some familiar faces marched inside, their postures and faces looking as if they owned the place. Which only seemed to urk him off more as he was the one who had claimed this place as his own... and these bastards had decided to act like this was some sort of oligarchy.
As it appeared... four distractions had just walked into his thinking room, being extra sure to cause a ruckus to the new chief and his important matters.
"Good morning, chief!" Kirishima greeted, his face lighting up as he spoke. "Awe man! That's so cool to say now! Imagine it! My rider as the king and me as his faithful dragon!"
