-Daya-
We had arrived at school after Jason took forever in the bathroom fixing his hair. I moved my hair in front of my face so no one could recognize me. I opened the car door and started walking towards the school.
"Wait up!" Jason jogged to catch up to me.
"What do you want?" I snapped, pushing the school doors open. People swarmed the hallways and I scanned the hall for Fynn, Jesse and Emily. I couldn't find the yet.
I wiggled my way in between people, picking up my pace to a speed walk to try and create distance between Jason and I. It was kind of pointless though since he's fast himself.
"Trying to run away from me?" I didn't need to look at him to see the smirk on his face.
"Actually, yes. I need to find Fynn."
"Why? So you can have another makeout session with him in the hallway?"
"Leave me alone, asshole."
"How am I an asshole?"
"Don't even go there."
I spotted Fynn leaning against my locker. When he looked up and saw me, he smiled. I smiled back at him and went in for a hug. He squeezed me back tightly and then kissed me on the lips. He was an okay kisser, but I'm pretty sure Jason is a bet-
Shut up, Daya! I yelled at myself.
"Hey babe, how was your night?" His smile faded and he glanced up at Jason across the hallway. Unfortunately, his locker was directly across from mine.
"It wasn't fun." I fornwed. But that was a complete lie to be honest. I hate to admit it, but I actually had fun at Jason's. He had convinced me to try all sorts of junk food which were absolutely yummmy! We watched TV and movies for a while, arguing and defending our favorites. I even punched him when he said Teen Wolf was gay and Tyler Posey was ugly as hell. Tyler Posey is HOT as hell. Not ugly. And that show is fucking amazing, not gay. He's the gay one.
"Really." He said as if he didn't believe me.
"'Im being serious. I hate him and he hates me. We're enemies, remember?"
"Then why did he bid on you?"
"How am I supposed to know?' Lie. "Why didn't you bid and try to help me?"
"I wasn't going to pay that much money, babe.."
"It's for a good cause! And it was me. What if he didn't bid on me and I was stuck with someone who just wanted to screw me?" We were holding hands before, but his hand was now gripping my lower arm tightly.
"Let me go."
"Why should I? So you can run off with that scum again?" his grip tightened more.
"What is wrong with you? You're hurting me." I say quietly, not wanting anyone around us to hear. His face came close to mine and he studied my face. I could smell a hint of alcohol. "Are you drunk?"
"Not today baby." He winked. "I had a beer this morning is all. If you want to see me drunk.. you can come by my place later."
"I think I'll pass." I looked over my shoulder and saw Jason looking at us. "People are gonna notice something is up if you don't let me go."
"I want them to know you're mine."
"I'm your girlfriend.. not yours. I'm not an item that you own."
"Keep telling yourself that." He whispers in my ear. His hand leaves my arm and he walks away.

The school day was going by slowly, and lunch had just started. I payed for my lunch and enetered the cafeteria, scanning the room for my friends. I spotted Jesse and Taylor in the far corner of the the room and started walking towards them.
"Hey babe." Taylor winked.
"Heyyy."
"Where's Mr. Bossy pants?"
"Really? You went with that."
"What?" She shrugs, spooning some yogurt into her mouth.
My little sister Gabe sat down next to me like she usually did. I didn't see her that much because I didn't come home right after school everyday. Usually, I would hang out with my friends or Fynn and sometimes I would go to the park by myself and draw.
She liked to hang out at her friends' houses too. We didn't like being home with mom and dad.
"What's up with you?" I asked, noticing that she kept looking in the middle of the cafeteria.
"Nothing." She shrugged.
I look over at the table she'd been looking at. There were a few girls and boys sitting there. One of the boys had a varsity jacket on. He had curly brown hair and hazel colored eyes for what I could see.
"You have a crush on him?" I smirk at her.
Her face turns bright red.
"What?! No! He's a football player. He's cute but.." She looks at him again and then her eyes widen. "No, Day, I don't."
My little sister liked to call me Day sometimes. When she was a little girl, she couldn't pronounce my name so she just called me Day. We just kept it for old times' sake.
"You are so lying!" I poke her.
"Awwww, little Gabe has her first crush!" Jesse smiles until her dimples showed.
"Shut up!" She covered her face with her hands. The boy she kept looking at was now looking over here. More specifically, at my little sister.
"He's looking at youu." I kept teasing her. "He's a cutie too."
Finally, she just stood up and fled the room. I can't help but embarrass my sister.. that's like my job!
Curly hair -I'm gonna call him- watched her. He said something to the bit at his right and then got up and left the room as well.
"Whose a cutie?" Fynn say down next to me.
"Oh, this boy that my little sister has a crush on. It's fun to tease her." I took a bite of my salad. The school salad was the only decent food they had.
"Well, you better not be serious about him being cute. Because you are all mine." His arm rested on my lower back, his hand dangerously close to my butt.
I didn't like him touching me. He always tries to do stuff with me when we're alone, but I always give him an excuse and say no.
Honestly.. I'm still a virgin. He knows that, and he seems determined to pop my cherry.
Yes, we are dating and we've been together for 4 years but.. I'm not ready. And I don't really know if he's the one..

I was able to avoid eye contact, or any kind of contact, with Jason Williams. Unfortunately, I saw Fynn 3 times the rest of the day and he was somehow still tipsy. I would not be going over to his house tonight.
"Can I come over to your place?" I asked Jesse at the end of the day. I was leaning against the kicker next to hers as she packed her bag with books and pens.
"Yeah! Wanna invite Tay too? We can have a girls night."
"Yeah, do you wanna find her or.."
"I'll get her." She closed her locker, "you should go get your stuff from your locker."
"I'll meet you at your car."
"Kay kay, byee!" She blew a kiss and ran down the hall to find Taylor.
