-Daya-
"I need help." I begged him. I kept looking behind me, afraid i was being followed.
"Please.."
He nodded his head, but I could tell he was confused.
I walked through the doorway and heard him shut the door. The room was spinning and it was difficult to stand straight.
I stumbled to the floor and tried to pick myself up.
"Hey, careful.." He helped me up, but he had to keep his arm around my waist so I didn't fall again,
"What the hell happened to you?"
"I don't.." I shook my head. He brought me into his room and set me down on his bed. My mind went somewhere else for a minute, and then I started to freak out.
"No!" I screamed, pushing him away from me. I fell off the side of the bed and dragged myself away from him.
"Stop!" I sat in the corner, curled in a ball and covering my face with my hands.
"Daya, I'm not doing anything!" He walked towards me again.
"Stay away from me!" I cried out.
-Jason-
"Stay away from me!" She cried out. She was in the corner of my bedroom, curled into a ball.
I didn't know what to do, so I just left her in the room. I shut the door behind me and slid down the door. I covered my face with my hands and shook my head.
What the hell happened to her?
I waited a couple hours before going back into the room.
I opened the door slowly and peeked inside the room. She was still in the corner on her side. But she was asleep now.
I sighed and walked over to her. I picked her up carefully and lay her down on the bed, pulling the covers over her. She was small. Fragile.
I walked out to the living room, where I'd set up blankets and pillows on the couch. I rubbed my eyes, yawning, as I lay down on the couch.
Why did she come to me for help?
Why didn't she go to her friends? Or Fynn?

I was woken up the next morning to someone shaking my shoulder. I groaned, pulling the pillow over my head.
"Get up lazy ass."
Daya. I groaned again, not wanting to get up. It's too early. I don't care about school.
"Fine."
She grabbed my ankles and started to drag me off the couch.
"Hey!" I snapped, instantly waking up. This made her flinch though, and she moved away from me.
"I was just gonna.. we have school." She hugged herself and looked down at herself.
"And I kinda need to go home and shower..."
I looked her over. She was still in her black dress, and she was still covered in dirt. Her hair still had leaves in it, and I noticed something odd about some of the dirt on her legs. Were they bruises?
"Daya.." I said quietly, slowly moving towards her. I didn't want to move to quickly and scare her. She noticed my movements though and still backed away.
"Daya." I said again.
"What..?" She spoke just barely above a whisper.
"What happened to you last night?"
