 Monday

"What did you find?" As the shadowed figure from the other side of the limo. "A girl," The guy answered," Strong jawline, bouncy curls from 1990, tall, pale but a distinct, large nose and a smooth, soft voice." The shadowed figure smirked, revealing yellowish teeth. "I'm not sure this is the girl you're looking for, she works at a waitress at Starbucks." He added. "Your description is pretty close, I suggest you continue investigating,"

"Are you sure about this. She might be the wrong one—"

"I said continue investigating." With a sigh, the guy sat back in the chair of the limo and looked out the window.

"Same guy as last time," Becca said," Why don't you say hi?" Krystal rolled her eyes and walked over to the guy sitting at the same table. Reading a newspaper appreciate as usual, the only thing different was his tie. An eye-catching blood red. He put down his newspaper and said," Hello Ms. Cane. I would like the usual, hot chocolate with cinnamon, whipped cream, small marshmallows, sprinkles and a straw." Krystal nodded and walked away.

Thud.

Again, he chuckled at the face on the swirl of whipped cream. The whipped cream had black, fondant glasses on with raised eyebrows and a spikey hairdo of tiny marshmallows. In between the marshmallows were sprinkles. The straw was sticking out the side of it. He picked up his mug and took a sip from the chocolate cookie straw. It cruised down his throat, warming him from the inside out. He looked up, seeing Krystal and Becca high five. He chuckled before the tall brunette caught his eyes and with a simple gesture he told her to come over. "Is there anything else I can get you sir?" She asked. "The name's Tyrone," He said," I may not now you Ms. Cane, but I need to tell you something very serious."

 "Okay..."

"You might want to sit down; a lady shouldn't be on her feet all day." He added, giving her a friendly smile. She sat down and asked," What is it?"

"You didn't hear this from me..." He said," Be careful uh—"

 "Krystal,"

"Be careful Krystal, somebody is after you. They've sent some men out to eliminate you, I suggest you get a gun. Watch your back. I know this is shocking to hear but stay calm. They won't pick up on you if you don't act on it. For now, keep it up here," Tyrone informed, tapping on the left side of his head. "Not out here," He added," Can you keep calm for me because I would hate to see you end up on the news."

"Yeah," Krystal replied, nodding her head," I think I can."

"Good," He said," Now, pretend this conversation didn't happen."

The man immediately left when he finished his mug of hot chocolate. Krystal picked up the mug and Under the mug was $4.70 along with a hundred-dollar bill and a fifty-dollar bill and a note that read, Here's my number if you have any questions

Okay...Krystal thought, Somebody's trying to kill me.

"Are you broke yet?" Joseph asked. "Nope," Krystal said as she skipped to her room. "What?" He remarked," How much?"

"One hundred fifty baby!" Joseph's jaw dropped," Okay, you're paying rent early." Krystal laughed," You'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands. Want to try?"

"Naw I'm good," He replied with a laugh.

Krystal walked through the streets of Manhattan, New York

Krystal walked through the streets of Manhattan, New York. She wore waist high skinny jeans with a thick brown belt, a long sleeve black shirt, baggy denim jacket, a black scarf with small gold stripes and black Adidas. She had gold banded rings on her pinkie and ring fingers on both her hands. Her quartz heart necklace on.

Great, somebody wants me dead, Krystal thought. She couldn't stop thinking about it ever since Tyrone first told her about it. She'd been hiding it ever since then but it was never far from her mind. "Maybe it's all in my head." Krystal said," Hmmm. That would make a good song. But baby it's all in your mind, yes.

 Don't worry,

Hold on tight and hear me when I say

Baby it's all in your mind."

"That's a good melody there." Said a familiar voice behind Krystal. Tyrone stood a few steps away still in his suit with black leather gloves on his hands. "Hey Ty," She said. "By the way if this was all in your head, do you think you would've been here instead of in your bed right now." Tyrone said. She noticed he didn't have sunglasses on, revealing his astonishing blue eyes. "Point taken," She replied with a sigh. "Walk with me," He said. They walked side by side in a slow pace, the sun was starting to set. "So who's after me?" Krystal asked. "That, I don't know," He answered, rubbing his chin," She hasn't showed her face since she contacted me."

"She?"

 "Yep,"

"By the way, you couldn't bother keeping this to yourself and make my life a lot easier?" Tyrone chuckled and said," Which would be better? Learning how you die or whose going to do it and preparing yourself to stop them before they kill you?" Krystal sighed again, hanging her head down. "An ignorant man walks towards death with open arms, a smart man calmly avoids death. Which one are you?" Krystal rolled her eyes," Anyway, you said I should get a gun."

 "I'm surprised,"

"What? You shouldn't be. This is New York, not Canada."

"Okay," He said, reaching into his suit jacket. He pulled out a black and dark gray Sig Sauer and two ammo reloads.

It was polished, shined in the light of the dimming sun

It was polished, shined in the light of the dimming sun. "This is a Sig Sauer, has a safety, rapid fire and normal mode switch just above the trigger." Tyrone explained," I would let you test shoot but I need to check in with the boss. Just talk to me when you need anything for the gun." "Like what?"

"Holster, reload belt or attachments. But use your dominant arm with guns. You'll thank me later. He passed her the gun and ammo, she put on reload in her pocket before loading the other into the gun.

 Clunk.

Quickly, Krystal turned the switch to safety before slipping it into the back of her pants. "Okay," She said," My life is about to get extremely worse." When she got back to the apartment, she found Joseph sleeping on the couch while Voltron was on. With a chuckle, she turned off the tv and patted his shoulder. "Don't try an all-nighter without an energy drink." With those few words, Krystal went to her room and started another drawing. The second whipped cream swirl she made today.
