There's just something in him...waiting to finally come out. He just doesn't seem to want it to. He'd rather remain as his selfish, bad, killer self. He made others believe he doesn't want something more than just killing and not giving a care towards anyone. He thinks feeling for someone sucks. It's because he hasn't yet experienced what emotions he has locked up inside...Leaves crunched under the pressure of his foot. The air became warm and carrying the scent of burning flames. He threw in a glass beer bottle, hearing it break and burn. He stepped over a lifeless human body and put his phone to his ear. "I hope you're proud of me...I just had a good meal," he smiled mischievously. The 'good' part about this was Ryder was 'great' friends with the sheriff. So he could easily cover up his own tracks with the killings and bodies drained of blood. He kept walking through the woods, talking to his brother over the phone. "Oh of course not," he said. "My friend, there is no need to judge a vampire when he is hungry."
Ryder gave a bored expression. "Uh yeah, how about you be the stupid one in this...and I be the smart one," the vampire was currently having an argument over the phone. His blue gaze turning cold, "Don't you dare bring my little sister into this," he snapped, hanging up on the phone. Afterwards, he heard a twig snap and turned to the direction it came from. He raised an eyebrow, peering into woods, he could make out the figure of a girl. "I assume you have no business to be here," he said, narrowing his eyes slightly.
"No business? It's the woods. I can be here if I want." She snapped. He could make out that she crossed her arms.
The vampire rolled his blue eyes. Her voice was whiny. Ryder then smirked, knowing she noticed the lifeless bodies, he was already thinking of compelling her. We'll just have to see how this goes... he thought. "Of course, but what are you doing out here...by yourself?" he asked. "It's dangerous to be alone in the woods," he added, a mischievous smile appearing.
She stepped out into the light. She was young, probably about seventeen. She was a brunette with a deeper shade of brown highlights and brown eyes. Her hair was attractively frizzy with curls at the end. "Who said I'm alone?" She snapped again. "Alright then," Ryder took a moment to look around their surroundings. "I only see you and me standing beside a killing sight," he raised his eyebrows. His blue gaze locked with her hers, "You haven't experienced all of me yet," he responded. Suddenly getting the feeling to go up to her and suck the life out of her. Wiping out the feeling, he stayed his ground, folding his arms.
The girl now showed a frightened expression. "What...what are you talking about?. " she started to back up. Finding her eyes locked onto his eyes. The vampire started to take steady steps towards her. The dried leaves crunching under the weight. "What I'm saying is...If you tell anyone about this," he began, referring to the lifeless bodies. "Then I will find and kill you," he threatened, now standing a few feet from her. She watched him with quivering eyes.
"You...you're a murderer." She muttered. "Ding ding ding!" Ryder raised up a finger as he gave his dramatic reply. He let out a smirk and went to grab her. "Okay okay I wont!" She spilled out. Throwing her arms out in front of her. He trusted that she wouldn't. Of course not, threats always do the trick! a smile appeared at the corner of his lips. "Now, why don't you scurry off," he said, motioning her to leave. Knowing the sheriff would arrive soon, he'd have to cover up his own tracks again. How easy it was.Being a good friend of the sheriff always brings you better luck.
