NERDLINGS [JOKE]

Chapter 1 - January

"First of all I want to say is that if this ever happens to you in your life do not, and I mean DO NOT do the same thing I almost did. I was a terrible friend. And if Tina wasn't this good of a friend she would never forgive me. So please don't do what I almost did"

I walked in on my first day of school after a long winters break.

My best friends Stevie and Tina had greeted me in the hallway by saying, "Sup Leopard!"

We all had cat names for our popularity problems. Besides the only one who might get more popular in North Holly Elementary School would be Charlie's mom! And she is so not cool. Charlie was pretty popular at North Holly Elementary School, well popular enough to be asked to give her their milk money. She had golden, soft, and wavy hair, kind of like mine but darker. She had green eyes that made the world seem brighter, but she was very pale, with pink lips, pink enough to not wear baby pink lip-gloss designed by Coach. She was pretty tall too; she could make a slam dunk. But the thing that was really weird about Charlie was that she always acted like she wanted to be someone else. And she wasn't a brat. Like in all the movies you see when the popular girl is all snobby and so rude. But so anyway Stevie's cat was a puma and Tina's was a snow leopard. Tina always acted like me. Like yesterday, I had my hair down but Tina's black hair was in a thousand little braids, but as soon as she saw me walk into school, as fast as lightning BOOM! Her hair was down, but okay maybe it wasn't as fast as lightning but she was pretty quick in and out of the bathroom. So anyway you get the point Tina is a wannabe. I am very scared about Tina.

When I got into the classroom I was very early. Early enough to get in one of the passing note activities. I sit in front of Tina and across from Stevie. Stevie is my bff. Tina again is a wannabe. As much as I love her she still kinda annoys me. Here is the saddest part about my life, I have a crush! I haven't told anybody yet. Not even Stevie! Well since the only people in the room were Stevie, Tina, and I. I decided to pass Stevie a note. I'm not really that open to Tina, with all my secrets.

"Oh no!" I thought. What if I get in trouble! I never got in to trouble.

Only Stevie, don't mean to sound rude but, only Stevie gets into trouble! But Stevie is cool for being bad. I mean she has the perfect hair, the short brown with a top layer of blond! Too late! I passed the note. I won't even think about what will happen if Mr. Zach finds out!

"That has my crush!" I whispered out loud not even noticing that class had started.

"Why Pazley, would you like to share your thoughts out loud?"

"Nah, I mean no Mr. Zach" I replied quickly.

"Well you might as well tell us what you have done" he seemed suspicious.

"Really, I don't prefer to tell the class", I explained.

"Miss Fox! Please don't argue with me, you are making a complete fool out of yourself, just please"

I hated it when Mr. Zach called me Miss Fox, Charlie hid her face, ashamed of her last name, Evan, she complained about her last name being the same as Sharpay in High School Musical.

"Okay, fine, whatever, I passed a note to Skylar saying some personal information."

Still acting suspicious, Mr. Zach asked another question, a question I could not reply to "Miss Fox! What kind of information! Do you need me to spell out the words for you! My goodness! Please, can anyone tell me please, please, please!"

Stevie raised her hand. Oh no was she gonna tell, no she wasn't, probably just asking to go to the bathroom, wait that's stupid, why would she raise her hand to go to the bathroom now? I thought to myself.

"Mr. Zach? I think I know what happened except Tina and I were barely paying attention to what she said but we know that she said something about"

-she paused-then looked back at me and gave me a wink-

"Well?" said Mr. Zach looking annoyed

"She said, -Stevie continued-something about how you are the best teacher ever and then she told me that she was gonna get you something great for your 30th birthday"

"29th" bickered Mr. Zach

"Right 29th -Stevie continued-"yeah that's right 29th"

"But what about the no-"

Stevie interrupted "I'll get there, right the note passing issue well you see"

Stevie stopped and looked at me waiting for help, she never needed help with her lying, she was the best at it in fact! I mean she had that English accent which made it hard to tell if she was lying she never ever once got caught!

I helped "well the note said what I was getting you a present"

"Then why didn't you say it?" He asked.

Man, he was a man of thoughts and the funniest thing was his first name was George! Like Curious George!

"I didn't say it because if I did then someone else would here it and tell you, I mean you know how gossip goes around these days"

"Right, true" said Mr. Zach "Detention both of you tonight seven thirty one"

Oh no! Was this really happening to me? Detention! Really? I thought.
