Late Night Calls

Dan sat alone, already missing Phil like crazy. He scrolled through his twitter feed, noticing something and quickly ringing Phil.

Phil lay in bed, missing Dan a lot. He had his headphones in and was blasting 'New Born' by Muse until his phone went off and he smiled when he saw who it was. "Hey." He said, pressing answer.

Dan looked over at the wall, thinking a bit, loving hearing Phil's voice again. "Hey Phil." He said sounding a bit nervous from something.

"Are you okay? You sound a bit..nervous." Phil said softly, looking towards the wall and twisting his earbuds' cords around his fingers.

"Yeah it's just Uhm.. Whens the last time you checked twitter?" He asked quietly leaning his head on his hand.

"I haven't been on it all day..why? What happened on Twitter?" He asked, quickly unplugging his laptop from the charger and going onto Twitter.

"Well it's just that.. One of our viewers saw us.. kissing and..uh.." He said quietly, laying across his couch and looking at the ceiling.

As soon as Phil logged onto Twitter, he saw #phanisreal trending and a photo of him and Dan kissing. "Oh no.." He bit his lip and looked down.

"Yeah.." Dan said quietly and sighed a bit, not really knowing what to say.

Phil sighed quietly, turning off his laptop and putting it back down on his dresser. "Well what are we going to tell them?"

Dan though for a second "I-I don't know.. Any ideas..?" He asked thinking about what he should say to their viewers.

Phil thought for a moment and lay on his back, looking up at the ceiling and playing with the cords of his earbuds. "..Uhm, I don't know..we can't tell them it was photoshopped..it's too real.." He sighed.

"Yeah.. there are lots of people who can photoshop well though.. We could just say that.." He said quietly looking down.

"Okay. I hope they believe it.." He said, quickly tweeting out to his viewers. 'That photo that you all saw was photoshopped. Sorry for all the confusion! x' Phil hoped it would work but knew deep down inside, his viewers weren't going to believe him.

Dan went on to twitter noticing that some people were believing him and others still were saying that it was real.

Phil looked through the replys and saw that some people believed it but most wanted to believe in phan-the ship name of Dan and Phil as Phil had learned.

Dan looked through twitter a bit more, tapping his finger on the side of his phone, wondering what to do.

Phil bit his lip and logged out of Twitter, putting his phone up against his ear again,"Well, some people are believing it.." He said softly.

"Hm.. Well that's good." He said quietly not knowing how to get the rest of their viewers to believe them.

"Yeah..I don't think it's possible to get all of them to believe us so atleast some of them do.." Phil said, trying to stay positive.

"Yeah.. There will always be people who don't believe us." Dan replied and laid down on his stomach.

"Yeah. So how are you?..aside from the 'phan' stuff." He asked, just wanting to talk to Dan being he missed him so much.

"Hm.. I'm good.. I miss you a lot tho.." He replied to Phil, feeling upset that he had to leave.

"I miss you, too. I can't wait to see you again." Phil said softly, getting up and turning on his TV so he could watch something on Netflix.
