Yellow was so excited. She had finally managed to get Silver to notice her. Silver had an extra ticket to the concert in town and had overheard Yellow talking with his sister about wanting to go see it. As the end of the school day quickly approached Yellow was packing things up and tucking the books into her bag jumping at the sound of her locker door being slammed shut. "S-Silver... Yo-You startled me." The blonde gasped hand on her heart trying to quiet her ragged breathing and slow her pulse somewhat. Silver of course just had a smirk on his face, that smirk both excited and terrified the blonde. "Di-Did you ne-need... Did you need something Si-Silver?"
Silver just looked over at her he was obviously enjoying this. Yellow just groaned she hated when the redhead played games with her, yes he was younger but he knew her weaknesses, and took full advantage of that. After a few moments the blonde sighed gathering her things. If he wasn't going to spill then she had a chemistry test to study for. Though it was one that she already knew all the answers too. A hand reached out trapping her wrist.
The blonde blinked looking back to him just in time to hear in a barely audible growl that she would be attending the concert with him that evening. Yellow just smiled and gave him a small nod. Satisfied Sliver let her go muttering something about her needing to be ready by no later than seven. Yellow squealed happily rushing home. After taking a quick shower she returned to her room to find Blue with a whole slew of clothes thrown about. "Blu-" And anything else was cut off as Blue yanked her into the chair. If Yellow was going to be going out then Blue just had to interfere and make Yellow look gorgeous seeing as it was her brother she wanted Yellow to look stunning and this was her best friends first date.
By the time Silver came to get his date Yellow looked completely different, her hair hung in ringlets down her back. Instead of the usual tomboyish style Yellow usually sported she was thrown into a camisole and a black skirt. If she had a say in it the skirt would have been longer, but Blue had chosen a one that went about mid-thigh. Instead of tennis shoes or Yellow was sporting a pair of boots that when to her knee and for the first time in her life she was forced to wear make-up. He didn't have to ask, this had Blue's handy work all over it. Silver had to admit even if it was just to himself that she looked good though she didn't look like Yellow anymore but a blonde version of his sister.
The concert was fun, even the grumpy asshat had to agree that going alone or even with Blue wouldn't have been as enjoyable. Blue didn't know the band like Yellow did. Afterward the two drove around for a few hours before he finally brought his date home and concluded by walking her to the door. His normal façade of 'fuck you I don't give a shit' was back the blonde just laughed that off and kissed his cheek. "Thank you Silver that was fun, we should do this again sometime." Once the words were out of her mouth and they had both said their good byes Yellow went inside and Silver walked back to his truck. Once inside the cab his fingers brushed over the spot where Yellow had kissed him a light blush forming as he gazed back at the house. He wouldn't admit it to anyone how much the girl had captured his heart. Admitting it meant he could be hurt. Feelings were stupid... Weakness... He didn't need anyone but his team and himself... maybe his sister. Then why did the thought of things between the two going back to normal hurt so much?
Finally realizing it he whispered the words. "I love you." He'd never say them to her, but at least he knew why he felt this way. Love... What a useless emotion. Was the last thought he had before turning on the car and heading home himself. Once home he flopped down on his bed letting the memories of the evening flood back, before passing out from exhaustion.
