- it was during the night when sal decided to visit you at your house cause he was having his usual insomniac night and wanted comfort

- he figured you'd be up (cause you usually are) so he went there without texting/calling you first

- the distance between the apartments and your house wasn't that far so he walked

- when he came close to the house, he couldn't help but notice you sitting on the porch of your house

- he assumed you were just taking the nights cold air in (he was quite worried actually cause it was FREEZING cold out)

- he sees a lit cigarette in your hand as you puff out the smoke

- and he is beyond confused cause he's never seen you smoke nor did he think you'd be the type to smoke, ever

- you were so startled by sal that you accidentally threw your cigarette in the air, resulting it to hit the back skin of your hand lmao and of course it burnt you a little

- you smile at him and greet him with a hug

- he decides not to say anything about you smoking as everyone has their own way of coping with stuff and he figured yours might be smoking

- but he did tell you that he's always here to listen to any problems you're having, if you want to vent

- recently he's been smelling cigarettes around him and he doesn't know why

- i mean, he does smoke but he definitely knows that the smell isn't coming from him
