Ragini was rushing outside of her house towards her car when she bumped into Laksh.

" Woh..woh..Where are you going with this supersonic speed ? " Laksh held her from shoulder narrowing his eyes.

Ragini rolled her eyes. " Lucky, I am already late for office, I will talk to you later. "

" Hey, That's not fare. I came to chat with you and you don't even have little time for me . " he gave her puppy eyes but she ignored him.

" Fine, Go. Kavita is better than you, atleast she has time for me " She halted to listen the name and he smirked.

" Who Kavita ? " she asked and he smiled smugly. " And why should I tell you ? " He folded her arms around his chest.

" Is she the same Kavita ? God, Ragini. What are you thinking ? There are so many girl with the same name . Just ignore it " she thought and huffed visibly.

" Whatever, Lucky. Meet you at dinner. C yaa " She blew him a flying kiss and he twisted his lips at her and went inside her house to meet Misthi.

Sanskaar was sitting in his office gazing outside from the time he came here. His eyes snapped as she barged out of the lift, panting.

" You are late, Ms. Sahayay. " the words came out from his mouth before he think anything.

She rolled her eyes and exhaled a deep breath. "Don't point the obvious."

He took a breath to not to revert back. "I wanted to talk to you, Ms. Sahayay."

" As if my objection can stop you." she placed her bag on her desk and turned towards him crossing her arms around her chest.

He ignored her taunted reply and said in a calm voice. " I am sorry about, Mr. Sahayay. "

Her body stiffened and her face turned into pure rage. Her father is in hospital bed and the person standing in front of her was the reason for it.

" I...I didn't know that he got heart attack. I truely am- " before he could complete she clapped her hands mockingly.

" Wow...!!! So the great Mr. Sanskaar Maheshwari is apologizing to me. " she snarled in his direction " But you know what, I don't need your worthless sorry, so keet it to yourself."

" Ms. Sahayay, I know- "

" You know ? " she raised her eyebrow and laughed bitterly. " No, you don't. You don't know how it feels to see your father struggling for his life. You don't know how it feels to leave your home, in which you spend your childhood. You don't know how it feels to stay strong despite how much you are breaking inside. "

A tear fell from her eyes but she wiped it quickly. " You don't know anything Mr. Maheshwari. "

Sanskaar gave her a sad smile  "Believe me when I said, I know."

And before she could utter a word he went inside his office, grabbing his car keys and stromed out of the office.

He was driving rashly as her words kept repeating in his mind. And before he knew his car lost balance and striked direct into the pole. Blood started dripping from his forehead as it pressed on the steering wheel making the horn go blazed.

Here,

Ragini was feeeling weird, as if something bad is going to happen around her. She picked her phone and dialed her mother's number.

" Common Mom, Pick up the call. " she shut her eyes frustrated after dialing more than three times but still got no response.

" Hope, Dad is okay..!! " She looked upside praying in her heart to keep her family safe.

" Lucky, where are you ? " she asked as soon as he picked the call.

"I am in a meeting, Why ? Is something wrong ? " he asked concerned sensing the dread in her voice.

" No,nothing..!! You complete your meeting. I will talk to you later. " she cut the call without listening another of his word, grabbed her bag and rushed outside to reached the hospital.

" Are you mad or what ? Why were you driving this fast ? " Rohan shouted and he winced.

"I was upset about something." he muttered and gave the nurse a 'Thank you' smile as she completed dressing his wound.

"And you were upset about? " Rohan raised his brow and he ran his hand in his hair frustratedly.

" Did you know that Mr. Sahayay got heart attack? And-"

"What...!!!!"

"I guess you too didn't know. " Sanskaar said with a guilty expression. He told him how he got to know about it and his talk with Ragini.

Rohan patted his shoulder with a sad smile. "I want to meet him, Ro. Otherwise my conscience will keep bothering me everywhere." Sanskaar said and Rohan nodded.

Ragini rushed inside the hospital. "Mom" she called and Mishti came running towards her with teary face.

"R..Ragu.. Your D..dad " she sobbed in her embrace and her body felt numb to think about the worst.

" Mom, what happened? tell me!! " She asked grabbing her from shoulders feeling all worried.

" His BP went really high all of a sudden making his body jolt out in panic. Doctors treated him, but they said if.. if he didn't respond in 12 hours then we are going to lose him "

Mishti sobbed uncontrollably again and tears started blurring in her eyes too. But she stay strong for her mother." He will be fine, Mom. I am sure, he will be fine. " she hugged her mother tightly saying this more to herself.

Sanskaar who came with Rohan few moments back, felt more guilty about it.

Mishti too saw them. Ragini followed her gaze and her face hardened to see him here. Her eyes stay on his forehead but the hatred she fell for him overlook it.

"What are you doing here?" she asked angrily.

"I know my sorry won't make it better, but I didn't knew this would be the consequences of my doing. And I deeply regret it. "

" Stop pretending in front of my Mom, Mr. Maheshwari. I know what type of man you are. " she said bitterly.

" The man who left the girl his unborn child without caring about them, is now caring about my Father. Wow..!! Why Am I finding hard to believe!!! " she said mockingly.

" I don't expect sincerity, even in apology, from a guy who is as cheap as you to abandon his own child " her words were dripping with full distaste as rage filled his face.

" You are such a obnoxious girl, Ms. Sahayay, who don't even want to listen to other people. Not even once. You judged people without knowing them. You never realized the truth in my words then and you are never going to find the probity in my words now. "

He turned in Mishti's direction and gave her a apologetic look." I truly regret for doing this to you. And I will mend everything the first chance I get, I promise, Mrs. Sahayay. "

Mishti gave him a sad smile and he left without even giving a glance to Ragini, who was standing there with blank face.
