I'm guessing if you've decided to read this story it's either because you're familiar with the series or you're just checking out what I've written. Most likely, the latter. If this is the case, then welcome! I know this is based off of a YouTube series but you really need no prior knowledge to be able to understand the story. That being said, you can follow along with me just as easily!
The Haunting of Sunshine Girl is a set of YouTube vlog-type videos that surrounds a 16 year old girl in a haunted house. She has to uncover the mysterious ghosts that are changing she and her mother's life, as well as the history of the house and why this is happening to her. I think I started watching this when I was... 8 or 9 maybe? It came out in 2010 and is still running — freaked me the hell out. Got nightmares when I watched it. But yeah. It's awesome. The best character comes in on season 4 but, y'know. Getting there.
So, yeah. Go watch it or just read it while I watch! Cause I'm writing this as I go through the series again. This will be a recreation, sort of goes deeper into the characters and their fears, needs, thoughts, etc. More scenes later on, hopefully. Especially when my boy Nolan comes in!
I would like to preface this by confirming that no, this plot isn't mine. These characters aren't mine. I'm here to pay tribute to my favorite series ever, especially for Nolan, who I think I've seriously adored since I was a wee little one. Either way, there will be more scenes later on, and the chapters pick up mostly around part 3 and start growing longer in part 4.
The last thing I want to explain is that the story and details are perhaps less so during the first and second parts of this book. To be honest, I was in a horrible situation in March and wrote this as an escape from my life — it was meant to be light-hearted, fun, and simple. If you find yourself coming to short chapters, or don't quite feel the rhythm of the story yet, please just give it a chance. If I can't do enough for you through this story, then please watch the videos for yourself. What I'm saying is that the first two parts are fun... it starts getting more serious (of course, there's humor) after and delves deeper into the plot and details. Again... part 4 is my favorite. Several long chapters there~
Anyway, I'm done rambling, I swear. I really just don't want to disappoint, and hope you can understand and accept the change in writing skill that happens from March~May. Thanks so much for clicking on this book, and I hope you enjoy. I love and appreciate all of you readers!
